LADIES I'M SO MAD ..... HOW DARE THEY (thg) !!!

well just got in long day ended up forgetting i had to go wedding/bridesmaid dress shopping! argh... and my phone run out of battery so didnt even have the number to call when i was out just called and my pcc is engaged so the main line told me!! they are getting her to call me back she has half an hr before i call again as i think ive waited long enough for an answer and also s its there fault they should being there best to correct it ! xx

I don't know, but if this was me I would be seriously pee'd off and would be demanding a full refund (inc deposit) so that I could go with someone else as I'm really displeased with their service.

But that's just me!

I would start keeping a track of the amount of times you are having to call them too, so you've got every possible bit of info for any complaint.

hi ladies sorry have been cooking dinner for my 3 and havent had chance to get back on, i got so peed off i got my sister to ring they said she would phone back ... 10 min later nothing so my sis phoned again ( i was sitting there saying dont em please.. but emma is like that lol) and they said we will get her to call you she is here till 6 she has just poped out!! 10 more min my sis rang back again and it was my pcc who answered, ive got the petrol so my mum is happy im happy sorted..... but i tell u after surgery my friend who has sued a few people is going to help me claim compensation i didnt see the need for this unessery stress but at the mo im looking forward to my op... you lot have been fantastic and i will keep you all posted on what happens with my complain ... first steps its getting an address lol which my pcc said that dnt have a complaints form but to email her and she will forward it .... as a company they have to have some sort of complaints form but my friend is gonig to ring them after my op and deal with it all and leave me to recover :D im glad things have finally been sorted 8 days to go .................... eeeekkkkkk xxxx

I remain of the opinion that your best shot is to reach an amicable agreement with THG BEFORE the op rather than trying to pick a fight afterwards... however I wish you luck either way.
Definitely submit a complaint though.

i havent got time to do this before and it will only add to the problems in life i have atm and i cant deal with rowing with a company for compensation... i want to be happy that im getting new boobs and enjoy the process. i dont plan to do it my friend will be dealing with them she just needs the bullet points in writing which my family will do while im recovering and im leaving it down to her :) x

arghhh it can be frustrating but at least your finally getting somewhere! its so hard when u can only be at the end of the phone or behind a computer. Way better when u can be face to face and just turn up at the office rather then having to wait for a call/email
but yay!!! all sorted!

I'm staying overnight. I don't think they give you a choice where I'm going as they like to keep an eye on you overnight after GA. Everywhere is different though! Tbh, a night away from my gorgeous girls is such a treat! Never mind that I'll have 2 holes in my boobs!! Hee hee x

You have had a shocking time, which is totally not on!

d_whpl gave some very good advise hun. I Know its hard and you should have NEVER been put into a situation like this but I would have called their bluff and told them you are not happy to go ahead with your B.A untill they have paid the extra costs you have due to their mess up- Hotel, petrol, and childcare ect this is the LEAST they should do for you!

They are banking on you being sooo desperate on having your B.A that youll just take the petrol money and all will be ok and then after your op all youll get is "why did you go through with the B.A if you were not 100 percent happy? and why didnt you make a complaint?"

Its totally upto you hun but I would at the very least get them to agree to pay for your hotel, petrol and childcare in writing via email before your op hun as i feel little will be done after and this is totally not on what they have done to you!

Must admit i am with Crystal and d_whpl. you should agree everything in advance.

It does not need to be in a conflict like way either. You can simply put an email with your expectations (being very practical and reasonable) and kindly suggest that alternatively they can change the date to your local hospital.

i do understand that you don't want any of the agro at the moment and that there is a lot on. Will that change later do you think?

All the above is a non issue of course if iall you wanted is the petrol cost.

Has the agreement for petrol money been verbally? Have they emailed you saying they'll refund petrol money?

As for compensation, you might get some, I personally wouldn't hold out much hope (think about how many girls have complications and have to pay for them to fix the issues. These clinics have a team of lawyers working on behalf of every department, which is why PIPs girls are having problems suing). In my opinion, you're playing a VERY risky game just going on their word when their service so far has been abysmal.

If your friend and family id going to do all this after the op anyway, could you not ask them to get everything in writing beforehand?

Apologies if this sounds harsh, but with years and years of experience dealing with these clinics you must get everything in writing if you stand a chance of getting what you want or oyu could end up with more arguments with them after your op.
