Best sports bra
Where's the best place to get a sports bra from? Going to need to buy 1 for when I go try implants on but want to use it post op as well so want to get a decent 1.
Is m&s the best place?

Re: Best sports bra
I found M&S the most comfy. I also have a shock absorber which is good but for some reason I preferred the M&S ones, they fit me better...

Re: Best sports bra
I got a sports bra from M + S but now realise it was the wrong type. Think it was just for more low impact sports.. Tried on my friends shock absorber type one yesterday with my rice boobs and it was so much better (racing back, really thick stretchy fabric which really held everything in place).
So I will look for a really super supportive one - they probably do those in M+S too - let me know how you get on!

Yeh i bought a couple of M&S ones and still use them now when im dressed casual as they're so comfy, i bought the level 3 one x
Re: Best sports bra
To be honest the best bras i have found have been peacocks sports bras. I have two from m&s and one from mybreast, but to be honest I only ever wear my peacocks ones. They are only £4 each, but do only go up to a d cup, however, saying that I have always had to buy a band size bigger in peacocks so the 36d fits me perfectly. They bands are also padded which is really comfy and at £4 each they are a bargin which wash and dry lovely x

Ditto!! it is the multiway bra no cups or seams, which you can wear after for gym etc. I also had a M&S one also comfy, but the ones I wore most are the 'Royce' post surgery front opening ones from figleaves online, they are seamless and made with silver to aid healing and good for a peek. xx

Re: Best sports bra
I've found a lovely one from a catalogue that does up at the front and has no seams. Might buy that.
Is a bra that does up at the front ok as a post op bra?

Re: Best sports bra
I bought two really cheap ones from asda (£4.00) and a more expensive shock absorber from figleaves & I have only been wearing the asda ones so far!! They are a lot more comfy to me at the moment as I'm still really sore. The more expensive one has more re-inforced stitching etc on the seams and I actually found that this irritated my boobs. The cheaper ones support me just as well but they have less stitching on the cups so there's less stitching to rub against you and annoy you! I'm still glad I got my proper shock absorber though because once the soreness has gone I'm sure it will be brilliant for going back to the gym with as it is obviously a far better quality bra.

Thanks lozzie really helpful.
I've been looking at all the seams on the sports bras 2 see where they are and if they will rub or not

Re: Best sports bra
I wouldn't spend too much...I was told to take 2 different sized bras with me on the day of the OP because they can't 100% be sure how swollen you will be etc until its done. They told me to bring 34D and 34C and I'm in the bigger one at the moment but it has become a little less tight so wouldn't be suprised if I have to start wearing the 34C by the end of the week & then the bigger one I'll probably not wear again! Glad that I didn't spend loads on a bra that I won't get much wear out of. xxx

I've seen some in asda 4 £4 so I'll get that. Will spend more when I've booked my op.

Re: Best sports bra
Are post surgery bras just as good as sports bras to wear? My friend had one on last week and it was pretty as well as supportive.
Can u get away with wearing these as opposed to sports bras?
