24our old boobies...couple of questions...
two quick worries that need some reassurance on... The nurse says my right breast is more swollen and it does feel a lot more painful but she said it’s because my right boob was a tiny bit smaller and so apparently it would have been more of a squish to get the implant in that one than in my left one which is less sore. Has anyone else had more pain in one than the other? Last thing is that I didn’t have drains and worried about fluid build up, had anyone else had no drains and was it fine? They feel so sore this morning and having to use the ice pack a lot.

Congrats hun! I had the same thing, my righty was smaller before so really ached alot more and my surgeon told me because it took a bit more effort getting the implant in so it would be more sore, it'll feel better in a week or so hun x
Re: 24our old boobies...couple of questions...
Hey hunny, nothing to be concerned about, my left was very tight and still is, the right one was totally fine and has dropped already but my left is still high up and quite sore, it might have something to do with what you say about the smaller one being more painful as its my left that was the smaller one and this is the one im having problems with, (well not problems but you know what i mean).
I didnt have drains either and i had hardly any swelling at all!! Just take it easy and dont try to do too much, your boobs are likely to settle at different paces and its totally normal that one will be more uncomfortable than the other,
Welcome to Boobievile tho.xxx

Hi hun, I also had one boob that felt tighter and more swollen than the other although for some reason it was the bigger one instead of the smaller. And I didn't have drains which caused no problem at all, no further fluid build up, only the regular swelling that I had when I woke up which was re-absorbed by the body in its own time and it didn't take that long.

I had one boob that was slightly more painful than the other... all quite normal; but, naturally if you are really concerned, don't be afraid to contact your nurse or surgeon to make sure. It is usual to consider each breast as a different surgery... ie different levels of pain and different rates of healing, so try not to worry too much.
Oh and I didn't have any drains either and everything was fine.
Look after yourself and take things easy.

Well done Lozzied, Singh does not use drains either as i was concerned about that - it seems to be 50/50 as who does and who doesn't use them - looks like you've got good feed back already. Someone mentioned pineapple to eat/drink - good for swelling reduction .. but you are young and fit and am sure yur body will do a good job. Am busy getting ready to go to London tonite for a 5am morning start - now - where is husband - in pub having one drink - its me that needs th drink !! Do you boobs look huge to you now ??

Re: 24our old boobies...couple of questions...
i asked about drains at my pre-op and the nurse said there are'nt many surgeons who use them now unless you have a certain measurement of fluid and bleed an awful lot, so it does seem the norm not to have them these days....thought that bit of info may help...congratulations lozz on your new additions..
