Re: Massaging?
I started when they felt settled so at about a month post op, i just applied cream and rubbed in circular motions and squeeze them from the bottom too. I dont think theres a general rule beacuse everyone gets told different things! They definately wont pop hun! x
Re: Massaging?
Thanks Nads i was starting to worry as i seen a few posts of ladies massaging quiet early on, think il leave it until my scars have healed more.

Re: Massaging?
I think because you have overs you might feel comfortable to start earlier, with my unders they felt like rocks for so long and quite sore so maybe thats why. Hope it goes well x
Re: Massaging?
People are told different things, some are told to massage, some arn't.
They also give you ways of doing it like, squeezing the implant down, or squeezing the implant up or placing your palm on them and going in circular motions.
Just do it when you feel comfortable. xxx

I was told to massage both times, first op at 6 weeks and this time at 2 weeks but mine are still too high and hard (like last time) x

Re: Massaging?
I have been told to wait until I see my surgeon again (next week) and then he may or may not suggest to massage depending on how they are settling. So not only different surgeons suggest different things, but the same surgeons also suggest different things to different people! The way I see it, it can't hurt to massage a bit, but I certainly couldn't have done it at 10 days post op, they still felt too uncomfortable! So maybe contact your ps and see what he says about you starting a bit later if you are having a hard time with it. xxxx

Re: Massaging?
I also wasn't told to massage. He said he didn't think it did any good. One less job for me, then!
I always think it's so funny how we all get told completely different things...
