I hate to say it but....
I think I need revision surgery!!!!
I have been waiting for 2 months for my right breast to catch up (2 months since the last time I seen my PS) he said it just needed time to relax..it hasn't changed since at all!! So I called the office to report my concerns and his receptionist and more than amazing, she told me that they should have had some changes by now!! she reassured me that if he needed to do a reop that there wouldn't be any costs charged to me on his part..but... I might have to pay for the anesthesia and new implants, she doesn't really know for sure cause it is so rare that it happens..which is fine I guess but I'm just wondering if any of you girls had to do the same? I'm upset but happy at the same time..I'm happy to know that if I decide to go bigger I have an opportunity to do so, but never thought I would be one of those girls that would have to get it done again so soon!!

Hi hun, don't worry if you o have to have a re-op its nott he end of the world, just an inconvenience that's all.
I had to have a re-op as one of mine didn't drop properly. Its annoying but the re-op was sooooo much easier and I am much happier with mine now xx

Hi Hattie
How long did you have to wait before he decided you needed a reop?

Hi hun just had a re-op myself and yes its a bit inconvenient but I just looked at it like it took me a little bit longer than everyone else to get my perfect boobs. I've got a feeling I will be much happier which is ultimately what matters xx

Re: I hate to say it but....
He wanted me to wait 3 months to see if they settled on their own then after 3 months he agreed to do a re-op. I actually waited until about 8 months to have it done due to work commitments etc. SUrgeons tend to not want to re-operate until 6 months post op really but it depends from surgeon to surgeon.

Re: I hate to say it but....
Sorry to read things haven't gone as you'd hoped sweetheart, like Hattie
has said, your surgeon probably wont consider the re-op until you are
at least 6 months post-op and he may even suggest massage in the
meantime to see if that encourages the implant to come down.
Also sorry to read the re-op may be of some cost too - not sure about after-care policies or any insurance you might have in Canada but it's worth checking that out and also which implant make you have? You may have a make that has a lifetime guarantee, if this is the case then the replacement implants should be free of charge sweetness.
Please let us know how things go when you next see your surgeon. xx

With a bit of luck you might not need a re-op you might just have a stubborn boob thats just taking a little more time to settle. I hope it resolves itself for you hun but if not you know where we are if you need support x

Re: I hate to say it but....
thanks girls you are so supportive!!
I have the allergen textured implants so I dont think I can message them :(
I dont think that it's a matter of them dropping it's more of the actual size, so from what James said that he might have overcorrected :(
I'm so shocked, my PS is a major perfectionist not a bad review about him, so I have no doubt that he will insist on fixing them.
I have insurance and everything, the only thing she said I might have to pay for is the implants and anesthesia

Re: I hate to say it but....
My Allergan implants are textured hunni and I had to massage mine to encourage one to drop.
Massage is ONLY really advised in textured implants if there is suspicion of early CC or if the implant remains high and might need a little encouragement - The massage did work for me and mine thankfully did drop xx

Aww good luck hun, it could still correct itself yet but as the girls said it's an 'inconvenience' more than anything and I'm sure you'll eventually be happy with your result either way. Keep us posted!!! xx
