I hate this bra!
Bloody post op sports bra. Hate it! It does nothing for the girls and it's so tight across my boob that the seam has left like painful lines across my boob and nipple! (like you get from tight jeans or thongs on your hips) but the size up from what I'm in now is far too large :(
Me and my Mum have had to put hankies across the front under the band because it's too tight on my stitches and I've have to put a hanky in the left cup too to stop it cutting into me! I'm in a 32C bra but boobs are a D/DD (I was told to wear a smaller cup size to hold them in really firmly) I tried on the 34D and it was massssive on the back and rode up too much and wasn't supportive enough in the cup.
Any of you know any good sports bra's that are seamless on the actual cup?!

Re: I hate this bra!
Maybe try a 34C babe? I know that might sound silly as you've tried a 34 back ant it wasn't helpful but they change as the cup size goes down, it's really odd how bra sizing works.
If you're still experiencing pain around the band and it's irritating your stitches, try using pany liners, using the soft side against your skin and the sticky side on your bra, it really does help babe. xx

Hadn't thought of panty liners that's a really good idea! Thanks hun will try that :) xx

Luci, I'm still Pre BA, so I'm not trying to give advice, but my PS told me that I shouldn't be "bound" into a bra, so I'd check with your PS and make sure it's ok that tight. With the lines on your breasts, I'd just be nervous of cutting off citculation to the healing areas. Sorry to stick my nose in.....Hope you feel better with Cookie's suggestion of a bigger bra!

Re: I hate this bra!
Its just a bit stingy! The D cup isn't supportive enough though. We've eased the lines with the hankys its just the band feels so tight! Silly inbeyweeny sizes. And no of course not darling, any advice is welcomed pre or post op! :) oh wow have fun! There's nothing to be afraid of whatsoever!
Re: I hate this bra!
Hiya, i'm 5 weeks PO and for the first week i put myself into 34d asda sports bras and 32dd level 4 shock absorbers. Then when i was 1 week post op i went to John lewis and was measured...the lady put me into a 32e triumph sports bra (no seams over the boob area) and it was bosom heaven..also my boobs softened really quickly when they weren't being crushed as bady. From my experience being measured and fitted properly made a ginormous difference to my post op comfort. Another thing too...don't put your bra on the tightest setting at the back...i was used to doing this for my tiny 32aa's but the boob measure lady said it should be on the loosest setting and i do this with all bras now. Try to only buy two bras max too as your size will change as swelling goes down etc. Hope you get comfier soon and congrats on your new additions. xxx

Oooh, that sounds really painful! :( I like the sounds of Cookie's suggestion to try a 34C, though. That would keep the boobs in tight, but ease some of the pressure of the band while you're still swollen.
Hope you feel better soon xx
