Wonky boobs.. and scars advice
Hi all!!
some of u may remember me saying a while ago about my uneven boobs!! basically my right nipple is still sitting higher than my left... its been nearly 3 months and there hasn't been much change, i dont think its dropped properly :( my right boob was slightly smaller tho so i was advised that the skin was stretched more, hence the higher nipple!.. but i was hoping it would even out as the skin settled. Just wondered has anyone else had this problem and seen changes from 3 months onwards?? or does everyone think that this is the final result now? im not unhappy with my boobs, its just something that i notice rele but would like to see if anyone else has had this prob and seen them change after a few months or more??
also my scars are still red... how long does it take for them to turn white?? ive been using bio oil twice a day xxxxx

I have the same problem. But I guess my left nipple has always been lower anyway. But its still supposed to drop. It's more noticeable now that they're bigger. I'm confused with all this also. But it does look a lil better. I'm 3 months now. I guess we just have to give it time. I could show you my pic so you can have a look at them. Just PM me if you want my info.

If you're that unhappy with your boobs hun, then make an appointment to discuss your feelings with your surgeon. Yes there is possibly still some time after the 3 month mark for changes, most surgeons will ask you to wait till around the 6 month mark for changes to settle.
At this stage though if you're very unhappy, then I think you should contact your PS babe. They'll either give you the reassurance you need that all is going to be well, or will give you further post op instructions to help with the rest of your recovery. I had a stubborn boob that just wouldn't drop and was advised to use massage to encourage the implant down, this worked for me, but you should ask your surgeon what the bet advice is for you sweetie.
Good luck and please let us know how things go. xx

I agree with Cookie if you are unhappy contact your PS at least you are making them aware that you think there is a problem and they can monitor it. I dithered about being unhappy and talked about it on here until I finally plucked up the courage to say that something wasn't right and my clinic have been amazing in sorting everything out and I am having a re-op on Tuesday. Good luck hun and keep us posted .
As for scars one of mine is white and the other boob still has alot of red to it and I'm over 7 months post op. Scars are like boobies theres no 2 the same xx

Re: Wonky boobs.. and scars advice
thanks for ur advice girls!! i'm not unhappy with my boobs, i like them a hell of a lot more than i used to!! haha... its just something small that has been bothering me. When i look in the mirror straight on its only noticeable a really small amount... but if i see the reflection of a reflection (2 mirrors) in a clothes shop changing room for example its really weird how completely odd they look!!??and im worried this is how it looks to other people?? has anyone else done this and seen the small differences look sooo much worse?? i dont know if its a trick of the mirror or wot... does anyone know wot i mean??
i might arrange to speak to my surgeon but i did bring it up when i was 6 weeks post op and he said it was because i had one slighter bigger than the other to begin with and that was the reason for one nipple being higher than the other as the skin was more stretched... it seemed like it was something i would just have to deal with... but reading comments on here it does seem like my right one just still needs to drop a bit and settle as the nipple is pointing more upwards and the left one is sitting more downwards....
if i can see anyones pics that wud be great please.... and if anyone has looked at their boobs in a double reflection and been rele shocked pls let me know!! lol

Hi! My left nipple is also lower than my right. It was also the bigger boobie before. I didn't know that because the skin is more stretched on the right it would be higher but it makes sense. Despite massaging etc the left doesn't seem to be budging much and still doesn't look like it's dropped as much. I don't get to see my PS for another 7 weeks so I'm hoping by then it'll have changed but they haven't really changed that much in the last couple of weeks to be honest.
Sorry can't be more help, just want you to know you aren't alone x

Re: Wonky boobs.. and scars advice
One of the surgeons I saw pre op said I may need a nipple lift as one of my nipples was slightly lower than the other and she was worried that it may look worse after the op. I decided against it as I was naive as to the benefits of lifts at that point and couldn't bare the thought of someone cutting into my nipple and the scarring. It doesn't bother me and I never noticed it pre op but it is a little more noticable now, I can live with it it doesn't bother me and I was aware of it before my surgery but if it was bad and it bothered me I would do something about it. x

Re: Wonky boobs.. and scars advice
i realized after my first ba i shouldve done a lieft like the ps said in the first place... but when i mentioned i wanted mininal scaring and areola incidsion he said he could do mastopexy (donut lift) however im now needing a re-op and hoping it turn out better than the first op bc now i just larger weird shaped breasts andhave to gofor another op. always do everything the first time, i thought id hate scarring more, but now i dontmind them , they arent as bad as you think theyll be, and there are manythings out there now to help make them harder to see
