curvey spine and wonky boobs!!
what can i do but laugh!!
i went for my check up today with my ps that my patient co ordinator sorted out for me as some of you may know i haven't been entirely happy with my new boobs. i wasn't sure about the shape and the fact they they are (although better than they were) slightly uneven, the right one being higher than the left..
he explained to me that i have slight curvature of the spine or Scoliosis if u wanna be posh...
it i hadn't been told this once before at a physio appointment yrs ago, i'd have thought i'd just been given the biggest blag thats ever been heard!! i mean, seriously!! lol
when he stood me in frount of a mirror and physically straightened me up, guess what, my boobs lined up!! i actually laughed, it really could only happen to me!
i look bl00dy nuts now because i'm practicing walking straight, its failing but keeping my kids entertained if nothing elce.... the bells...the bells.....!!
no but seriously, thats it now, not gonna winge anymore, so my new boobs are a bit out but i'm just gonna keep lookin at my before pics to remnd my self how much better they actually are..
so there you go, i'm a HAPPY, wonky boobed, curvey spined kinda gal....

Re: curvey spine and wonky boobs!!
thanks girls!!
quasimodo indeed!!! lol
i did feel like a propper plonker when he straightened me up and my boobies just sort of fell into place!!
for the past four months i've spent hours scrutinising (spelling lol) my boobies from every angle known to man, i tilted my head this way and that way, i've bent over and looked through my legs, i've bored my poor husband silly asking him if they look ok like this and like that and all the time all i had to do was stand up straight!!
its a giggle if nothing else hey??

Have just had a thought. Could you try to do some sort of Yoga or Pilaltes (can't spell)!!. Might help a little with your posture.

Ahh, you're so lovely. Seriously though, everyone has bad posture (unless you've been to finishing school of course )
My shoulders ache becasue I hunch them, like one of the chickies said, having no boobs I had nothing to stick out there!
xx
Re: curvey spine and wonky boobs!!

thanks len,
i did try yoga once, just did a 12 week course in it and have never been so bored in my life, i'm a runner so i just couldn't get sitting there stretching for an hour, its usually something i do for 5 mins after i've been out for a good run... i just can't get my head round not getting outta breath when exercising, it feels all wrong!
might get some books out today and me and the kids can practice walking with them on our heads, who need a finishing school i ask ya??

Re: curvey spine and wonky boobs!!
LOL - sorry but the way you wrote that was so funny!! Glad that's all it was.
I agree that most of us have bad posture. I tend to arch my back and stick out my bum and chest, which leads to lower back ache. I've learned to correct it though as I've done Pilates for the last few years...I LOVE it! So much more fun than yoga and it's a real challenge when you get into it - very hard work! And gives you fantastic abs! If you get a good instructor you could really help your posture as you can correct muscle imbalances which could help the curvy spine? Just a thought.

Re: curvey spine and wonky boobs!!
My physiotherapist suggested Pilates as a good way to tone muscle and build posture. I got a DVD of it and do it every week now.
I agree, yoga is so boring. I'm not into all that 'ohm-ing and ah-ing'

OMG!!! How complicated is this??
I've signed on and am trying to understand it... I don't get how you post back to someone...at the top? Or after everyone else?
Anyway..gonna have to try and work it out...am getting tired of the "other" side... [edited ]
Any way wonky...you got me on here now...no getting away!!
By the way...I've heard that Pilates is good for posture...I'm thinking of trying it...think I also hunch a bit and my new boobies point down when I do, but if I straighten up..they poke your eye out!!
I went to Asda last night and tried a couple of their new bras in a £$ E...and they FIT!!!! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha ....Yay!!
Back to here ...and this new-fangled-thingummy chick..
Will keep plodding on.... how do you know you've got a reply??
