Im Pre BA and Scared!!
[font=Comic Sans Ms]Hi Girlies
Just to say that you guys have really helped me out in making my decision to get a BA.. Its nice to read peoples comments weather they be good/bad/sad!
I have decided to definately go through with it, have sorted the money and told parents and work.. now all i need to do is get the courage to actually book a consultation!!
I have been referred to a surgeon from a close friend who until last month i had no idea shed even had one done! His in London and when i spoke with them on the phone they seemed very helpful and kind!
Im still deciding on the size what i want to be.. i know from reading everyones posts that they mostly say go bigger?
Thanks Everyone!

Hey Flossy
Great to hear you got so much info on here, it's been brilliant for me too.
When are you going for your 1st consultation? It's probably a good idea to have a couple of others elsewhere too, I went for 3 ..
Keep us posted on your progress

Re: Im Pre BA and Scared!!
Hi Shona
Thanks for your reply! I cant tell you how much this site and the girls on here have helped!
Im hoping to book them for as soon as i can.. Im a big wimp and if i dont pull myself together i wont get it done lol!
Im as flat as a pancake tho and although my boyfriend doesnt care what size my boobies are (funnily enough he hasnt complained about me getting them done lol!) i would feel so much better in myself if i had a bit of cleavage to show off in the summer months
Where have you decided to get yours done?
How did you know that they where the best place for you??
Thanks :)

Hi Flossy,
When you meet the right surgeon its like finding Mr Right - You just KNOW :) I only ended up going for one consultation cos i just knew that surgeon was the one for me, altho the best advice IS to go for a few and weigh up what they all say to you.
I was terrified / excited going to my consultation then terrified again afterwards making the decision then just non stop fear and excitement right upto the day its a brilliant experience so try to enjoy it all we're all here for you anytime.
Good luck x x

Re: Im Pre BA and Scared!!
Hi Janeybird
What if i like the surgeon that i was referred to should i still go to a couple of others just to be sure? I do have a habit of rushing into things lol!
I know this is the right thing for me to do, but everytime i think about it i get butterflys in my stomach! This is before i have even booked anything.. Imagine what im goin to be like when ive actually signed on the dotted line!
I see on your profile thingy that you was small too before your BA.. do you feel that you got the right size or do you wish you had gone smaller/bigger?
iI have an imagine in my head of what i want mine to look like and to be honest i think they may be too big for me.. Im quite tall n lanky hahahaha!
xx

Re: Im Pre BA and Scared!!
I LOVE the skinny with big boobs look so in my own mind i think i couldve gone a bit bigger but my husband and ALL my friends say i am quite big enough ha ha ha and to be fair they do look pretty big :D
Advice is to go for a few consultations but i am terrible at making decisions, if id gone to a few and the'd all said different things id have struggled. As it was i felt so happy with surgeon and his advice that i just went with it (i DID choose the bigger of the 2 sizes he suggested tho THANK GOD) I rushed in cos i wanted them done and healed before my wedding (2 months afta op) so i had to 'crack on' ha ha ha
It IS scary but good scary and it will be the best thing you have ever done - promise. Just be honest with surgeon and tell him what you want then he/she will advise you on how to get it :)

Re: Im Pre BA and Scared!!
DEFINATELY have more than one consultation sweetness, if only to have something to compare so you KNOW the choice you've made is the right one for YOU.
The surgeon your friend had might have been right for her but that's not to say he'll automatically be the right one for you.
I totally understand your excitement and just wanting to get your surgery booked once you've made the decision to have a BA hun, but remember, this is a HUGE decision, you're going to change your body shape and you want to be 100% sure with the choices you make.
So step back a little hun. Take a moment to read through the links on the right hand column of the forum, you'll find them really helpful. Do your own research! and don't go ahead with anything unless you and your surgeon are fully in agreement with what is suggested for you.
Also, if you're seeing a patient co-ordinator first, they are NOT medically trained in any way, take advice for your surgery from the surgeon only sweetness, they are sales people, the only person who will know what is needed to give you look you want is a qualified surgeon.
Good luck hunni and welcome to BJSF!

Re: Im Pre BA and Scared!!
JAINEY- I also love the skinny with big boobs but to go from nothing to a big pair may look a little strange on me (i have really small feet for how tall i am too and worry that i may topple over lol)?
Your boobies look lovely i must say, your surgeon done a good job! you must be so pleased.. i just want it over and done with now and to be able to sit and look down at a huge pair of boobies!
I think i will have unders like you, can you feel me in on the pain factor please lol. How long roughly until you start to feel normal again? I know its different for everyone but i like to know and try and prepare myself for the worst xx
Hi Cookie :wavey:
Thanks for all your advice i will TRY and follow it (i know i shoud but its too hard when you are as excited as i am) I will promise to see at least 2 consultants
With the surgeon i got recommended you only have one consulatation thats with him and then they give you the price and then you book? Is this how you done yours or did you have a few with the people you choose before you had the BA?
What did you have unders or overs?
xxx

Re: Im Pre BA and Scared!!
You're NEVER obligated to book your surgery after a consultation hun.
You will have a consultation, be told what the surgeons plans are for your surgery and given a price.
You can then go home, digest the information, go for other consultations and go home and digest their information, take as long as you need... if you think a second consultation with the surgeon you liked best might help as you need further info, then you CAN do that hun, and ONLY when you're 100% happy, book your surgery when it's the right time for YOU sweetness, not the clinic, don't ever feel pushed into booking or be swayed by any offers on the day to try and get you to book there and then... Take your time to ensure you're getting the best for YOU.... Any offers that you might be given will still be offered when YOU choose whats right for you hun, even if you're told they're only there for a limited amount of time - remember patient co-ordinators if you see one are 'sales people' so just beware of that and take your time. xx

Re: Im Pre BA and Scared!!
Great advice from Cookie Sweety xx :good:
Although it's exciting, don't rush into anything xx meet a few surgeons, and think about things carefully xx It's a big decision and a lot of money, so you want to get it right first time if you can xx
On booking your first consult xx

Re: Im Pre BA and Scared!!
Hi Flossy
You sound so excited. I have totally nothing when I had my first BA...infact I've recently uploaded some old pics I found in my bikini, let me know if you want to view and I'll send you my details. I went from a AA to a C cup and I loved it. It's only now after 10 years that I'm having them redone and thinking of going slightly larger.
It's good if you see more than one surgeon, I went with one that was recommended to me in London too and although he was a brilliant surgeon (and has since been on TV and stuff) his bedside manor was not gr8 and he wasn't very approachable and didn't tell me much of what to expect. This time I was recomended to one by my doctor and it turns out he is lovely (he is one of the surgeons linked to this site) and he is so informative and helpful. so make sure you're happy with you're choice and good luck on your journey.
