I think I've wet my scars
Hi all...
I'm 1 week post op (time flies when you have new boobies to keep staring at!)... ANYWAYS... when I had my BA last week my surgeon told me he had kitted me out with water-proof strips and if I wanted to, I could shower... I didn't want to risk it so I basically just sponge bathed/showered and had my hair washed at the hair dressers but today I thought I'd try and wash my own hair... my strips have created a small gap where the crease is and I noticed that the area by the plaster was wet so some water may have got in... luckily my post-op appointment is tomorrow - but do you think my scars will be OK given that it's been a week already?

I think they will be fine hun, I had a shower after 4 days, as long as you let it dry (i sometimes used a cool hairdryer to help dry them out) then i'm sure you will be ok. I also freaked out at every tiny thing but that is what we are all here for, to provide you with some reassurance when you need it
