Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
thats great thanks for sharing your story. I did think should i go bigger in case im not satisfied and want to go even bigger - bit of an obsession i think it can be!!! I was a little surprised my surgeon says to do over on me i hope its ok, as im small......as i see you had unders, any rippling or large gap with your unders, the muscle tightening over breast? he said it would leave less cleavage, and they would move with the muscles etcwith the unders, but i think he just doesnt like doing unders!!! what do you think or was told?

Hi , I'm booked to have my BA with Mr M in October and was told the price was £3995 unless i lived within an hour of the hospital (because i need an overnight stay) do u think i could have got price down if i'd tried as the clinic manager was adament that there was no way i could go for a day case! xxx

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Hi annualise
I did manage to haggle the price down but only by £300 but it wasn't easy, the consultant lady was quite stroppy and rude about it, so i am guessing you may struggle, maybe quite a few people have done it and they've got strict, but to be honest they are quite good on prices anyway compared to other places. But not sure your situation as I was allowed a day case I chose, and I live about 40/50miles away from London. Even if you live far away, it could work out cheaper to request a day case and just stay in a hotel next door. I'm sure I read somewhere on here that someone did that, may look into that option? but it depends on your surgery, is it a straight forward enlargement? Maybe ask the clinic?
I haven't yet gone for my pop yet, I had to delay it till November at moment, wanted to swim with my holidays so postponed it till my hubby isn't away travelling with work, with 3 kids I couldn't do it alone post opp!

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Hey girl! Mr Meleagros did my surgery on Sunday, I started at a 30A, had 410 overs and am now a 32D/DD which is exactly what I wanted.. I'd say go with your gut instinct! It's your body after all... how have they turned out? :) Having my drains removed felt veryyyyy weird but not painful at all. How was it going back to work so soon?!
Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Hi Hshort , I live about 100miles away and to be honest i think i'd rather stay overnight anyway as it gives me a break awy from my 3 children (the youngest is only 15mths). I didnt think the price was bad at all until i read what some others have paid although as you said mabye they got a bit stricter if a lot of people were trying it! Thanks to all for leaving your comments love reading about ur experiences

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Hi girls...Im going for a consultation on Sept 10th with Dr Nathan but Im thinking Im guna ask to see Dr M as he sounds ideal for me. Just a few questions...Im a newbie lol :D....Whats a day case? I want to try and haggle a bit with the price...Im planning to have it at the Central London clinic, which is about an 1hour & 1/2 away. Im happy to stay in another hotel over night near but I would rather stay at the clinic really. Any tips?
Does Dr M ever do unders? I know he likes to do overs and Im surprised to hear that he nearly always recommends it even to girls that are an Acup but I guess if the rippling isnt that bad that why not.
Any help girls would be very appriecated.
P.S. Im a 34b and want to be a DD - Will Dr Nathan not like this lol x x x

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Hi Chloerose7, Mr M is using a newer type of implant which is more filled than standard , cant remember what its called sorry, its still silicone but produces less rippling, dont think Mr M does do unders tho. Apparently with unders the cleavage is wider apart than with overs and this is the look i personally want but everyones different. I have read some great reports on Dr Nathan too so wouldnt worry too much altho u can ask to have consultations with more than one surgeon b4 u decide. xx

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Aww thanks annaliese76. Well I think with the look Im after Dr M wil (fingers crossed) be great for me. I want to look about a DD/small E. I think Id rather have them others anyway, as like you said they tend to go more towards the side and the wider clevage. Awww Im so nervous :D. Ive rebooked my consultation now anyway as Id rather see what Dr M has to say and ask him all of my questions and then go from there...Im now guna be at the Reading clinic of Sept 3rd....How EXCITING
Ohhh Ive love to find out what type this is....a good implant I hope...when you say fuller do you mean a bit more high profile?
Not long for you now xx

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Hi Chloerose7, Im looking at ending up a D/DD and im an A cup at mo (depending on bra!) . Mr M will probably explain about the implant type that im gonna have i am having a high profile (as im a small frame) but basically the implant is just packed more so it doesnt ripple on the outside sorry im not very good at explaining!!! lol I think this type is available in different profiles too, I'm counting the days cant wait!!!! xxx Good luck with the consultation Mr M is great or at least i thought so and i not heard anything bad about him yet! xx

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Yeah Ive heard lots of good things. Did you see any other consultants? I was orginally guna see Dr Nathan but I think already Dr M will be for me but we'll see.
Im not sure if to have anatomical or rounds?
I dont really understand the whole profile thing?
I know exactly what you mean about the rippling which is great :). But is profile how far that come on if looking at your from the side or how full the implant is? Sorry i dont kno much about that area of things yet?
Lots of boobie love :D x x

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Hi I was gonna see Mr Khan as well but was so happy with Mr M that i booked with him:), High profile means they stick out further but have a smaller diameter (so more suitable for a small frame like mine, Im 5'3 and 7st 10) low profile is flatter but wider (so more suitable for a larger frame) , It really depends how wide ur body is i guess as on me a low profile would prob end up under my armpits!!! lol
Boobie love back

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Awww thanks hun, that explains things. I thought it was much more complicated then that. I see why you would wana go for that then, i think I could have a boob job being slightly wider as I think I probably have a slightly bigger frame then you but like you said...dont want them hanging around your armpit lol. Cant wait to see him though.
Did you manage to haggle? I wana try and get the price down a bit

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
When i saw the clinic manager i did ask if there was any way i could get the price down as id seen it had said from 3695 but she said this was only for a day case and although i had contemplated staying in a hotel i just felt more at ease knowing id be kept an eye on 4 the first night just in case i experienced anything i was unsure about so in the end i was happy to pay th 3995 xxx

Ohhh I see okie doke. Ive heard a few people say about this day case thing but I dont know what that means??

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Day case means you don't stay in that night. You have your op then go home the same day. I stayed in and was so glad I did as i had drains in and they were still filling through the night. Plus I had morphine for the pain and they don't send you home with anything more than co-codamol!

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Aww thanks tammo22uk. That makes sense now...but surely your not to know if your guna need to stay in over night. I dont really mind too much I dont think about staying overnight but I guess you just dont know how your guna feel.
What was your before hand Tamsin? Your boobies look lovely if you dont mind me saying...that the kind of size/look I want roughly.
Do you pay once youve had it done then or before? Coz you never know if your guna end up staying over night surely...would that let you leave it you was to not look up to leaving??
Sorry about all of the questions
xx

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Thats the sort of thing im a bit worried about Tammo22uk, so im glad im in overnight. Things often seem scarier at night too so even if its to be expected id rather have my mind put at rest if im at all worried and its nice to know there's good pain relief too!! xx

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
No you pay beforehand. I guess they let you go home if you've not paid to stay and you gotta hope you can cope with the pain at home. To be honest, the pain is not crippling, it's just I personally found it easier having the slightly harder stuff as it was available. Kind of a "why be in pain if you don't have to be" attitude.
I've got three small kids at home as well, so it was a nice break from them without them having to see me at that 12 hours or so after the Op where the pain is prob the worst.
I was a 34A before hand and now I'm a nice 34E cup. I absolutely LOVE mine! I'm sure you guys will too!

Re: Mr Meleagros. Transform Reading
Tammo, U say ur currently in a 34E support bra, Is that a support bra in ur avatar cos it actually one of the best looking support bras ive seen and wondered where u got it, most support bras are really unattractive, Ur boobies look great btw, u had slightly bigger implants than im allowed(due to my chest size) but im hoping ill achieve a D cup once all has settled (Im currently an A cup and havind 365cc HP overs) xxx

Newby - seeing Meleagros
Hi All,
Firstly thanks - it has been a real help reading your posts - and congrats to all who have had it done, and good luck to those about to! Am in early stages of thinking about having BA and am seeing Meleagros (Transform) tomorrow eve for a consultation. Am probably a 34/36 A and slim but with a big ribcage (my shoulder blades stick out further than my boobs - a good look!) I don't want to go big though - was thinking a B or C (basically the size that my overly padded bras make me look). Guess am most confused over the decision about unders v. overs and the rippling thing (if that is when you can see the top of the breast implant as an edge under the skin?) Anyone know of people who have gone for this smaller size (i notice most of you girls are going for the more impressive D+ size)? Thanks all!
