Sleeping tablets the night before a BA?
I normally take a sleeping tablet (only Zopiclone) to help me sleep at night.
Just wondering if they would want me not to take this the night before surgery?
Anybody been told not to take it?

Hiya. I take zopiclone regularly too!
Thank god for zopiclone! Haha.
Every clinic and surgeon is different but I wasn't allowed to take it for 2 week before my surgery! And 2 weeks after. xxx

I think I will ask mine but I will be a horrible sleepy mess if I can't take mine for 2 weeks =O
I feel sorry for my OH and cats...
I love zzZopiclone. Do you ever find your mouth tastes of metal? I do sometimes... Though that's more then I double my dose to knock myself out!
I really feel for you with the not being able to wash your hair thing! I will be there soon enough too :(

Re: Sleeping tablets the night before a BA?
Haha that's all that occupies my mind for the past 5 years! boobs! It's worse since I joined this forum last year...
I am half Polish so I am having my operation in Poland and staying with family for a few days afterwards, about 5 of my friends have been to the same place and couldn't be happier with their experience so I decided to go for it although I am a littler nervous!
I'm aiming for about 510cc overs from with either Mentor or Allergan apparently I have a lot of tissue there (Sorry TMI I know) after weight loss and breast feeding has taken it's toll!
I have even downloaded a ticker on my phone so that I can count down the days! The only problem is no matter how much I look at it, doesn't get any closer, I was meant to be having my op on 28th April but I have been unable to get the time off work and my boss is the ice queen :( so I have have to re-book for September.
You had overs didn't you? How are yours feeling?

Ahhhh I'm a quarter polish :-)
That's great that u have other people who have been there and I can see his work in real flesh :-)
I'm feeling great now. I know I have a long way to go yet but so far no pain I have now been a few days just taking calpol :-)
The weight takes a bit of getting used to. I'm constantly shrugging my shoulders up coz of the weight haha!
The only thing I can moan about is as a stomach sleeper I have awful back ache and am losing sleep as I can't sleep propped up and on my back xxxx

Re: Sleeping tablets the night before a BA?
I only ever sleep on my back when im so drunk I just pass out, I'm a stomach sleeper, I resemble Superman when im asleep with arm positioning, only I **naughty word** one leg up! Have you been using a v-shaped pillow to help? I was questioning weather I should invest or not.
I do ballet and have a feeling it's going to kill my posture but it will be well worth it as long as I don't end up looking like the hunchback of notre dame!

That's exactly how I sleep well normally.
I have 6 normal pillows, 1 v shape pillow, a wedge pillow and a body pillow! Haha. I could easily just sleep with the normal pillows and the V shape one!
I would never be sleeping a wink without my v shape pillow! Defo purchase one un!!
My pilates teacher will be going mad at my posture. I am hunching over and my backs literally about to give way. I'm hoping this is temporary though xxx

Re: Sleeping tablets the night before a BA?
Oooo I'm going to have tho buy one of those then and a few more pillows, I have 6 but my OH steals 2 of mine because i normally just use one pillow with my arms underneath it!
I may put him in the spare room, sounds a better plan, that way I can arrange pillows to prop me up at the back and at the sides to stop me from rolling over!
Ovaltine here I come

Re: Sleeping tablets the night before a BA?
I sent the OH in the other room for the first few nights as the thought of someone being near my boobs made me feel sick and were both such fidgets!
I normally chuck all my pillows away before I sleep but I now have a thrown built out of pillows! Haha xxx
