Re: sleeping through the Night!!
I can say that although I didn't sleep through as I never ever so (although I did for 2 days after op with the meds) I definitely see a turning point now with the boobs at 8 days post op. I definitely feel much more comfy since yesterday :) each day once you get past day 5/6 I reckon just gets easier and easier xx

I agree with the above. It gets better day by day. Getting sick of sleeping on my back propped up now tho. I want to know when I can sleep normal again...

Re: sleeping through the Night!!
aaw jodi, i'm sure you'll see a turning point very soon! you're 4 days postop, very early still, but a lot of girls start feeling better around day 5.. and once the tightness and discomfort eases i'm sure you'll be able to sleep better again as well.
have you got a v pillow? mine is dead comfy and made sleeping on my back really easy.
Gz, i was told i can attempt side sleeping at 3weeks post op if it felt ok to me, but i was too much of a scaredy cat, i waited till about 5 weeks, and then it started happening naturally x

Re: sleeping through the Night!!
I agree with MrsB Jodi, one week is generally the turning point
That however can feel like a lifetime away though when you're suffering sleep deprivation which more often than not leads to the post-op blues also.
Its the swelling that's making it difficult for you to sleep right now Jodi. If you can, just keep up with the ice packs and taking any pain meds you're prescribed whilst you still need them.
Be sure you're up and about regularly during the day, but sleep too when you can to try and catch up on those zzzzzz's.
Its a difficult period that first week and its hard right now to see past it, but it honestly is going to get a whole lot better Jodi. X

Re: sleeping through the Night!!
I'm 10 days post op, and still not sleeping through the night. Though not through pain, just that I like to sleep on my tummy so sleeping on my back is rubbish!
But like the other ladies have said, every day you will feel a little bit more normal x

Re: sleeping through the Night!!
Can you take portion after for itching?
Can you take before op? I always take this a week before I go on holidays.... As mossies see me as a walking banquet. And I never get the reaction I used to. It's weird because if I stop taking them I come up in bumps. So have to take a week before, the week I'm on hol and week after.....
