Okay, The Khan Wrap has gone apparently Mr K uses it to help stop CC xx It was agony coming off to start with but I had a brain wave and got my lovely nurse to wipe down the inside with a wipe as she was pulling it off, and it worked a treat!!! So LB ask her to ease it off with the wipes they use to get rid of the sticky residue left behind xx :good:

No showers for me unfortunately until next Wednesday but I'm cool with that as I can wash my hair over the bath and have a shallow bath xx I have had 4 little steri strips put round the areola to bolster them up and then soft gauze taped over all my incisions, although my nurse said I was healing quite well, we don't want to take any chances, I think she did it to keep me happy xx I didn't look in the mirror, I daren't, as I know the incisions will still look pretty raw so I thought I'd leave it for another week xx

I did look down lots and I liked what I saw xx My areola are smaller and lower and I like the shape and size I've got when I look down xx I'm still a bit swollen and have a raised bit in the middle but me and my lovely nurse both reckon I will be around a DD so I am really really chuffed xx

It sounds like you are going to heal much better this time round and will be overall much happier that's brilliant. Its better to be safe than sorry where showering is concerned at least you can still wash lol and do your hair, which is sometimes the worst thing in the world when you can't wash it.

I'm really pleased your happy with your result, I didn't look at my scars either lol, I will do it on thursday when I have more guts and a bf there to reassure me haha.

Ok ESSAY ALERT***
I'm all done! (Sorry fell asleep when I got home) nakered after today!! Zzzz

So I had the khan wrap.... Wasn't that painful... More annoying! I did say OUCH when she pulled one of my stitches to trim it..... Now I wanted to throw up during that!! She put another sticker on which I have to keep till tomorrow night then I CAN SHOWER and get them wet... Which seems quite soon??? But hey I'm not fighting that!!!! And I can also cocoa butter my boobies so long as it doesn't get near the cuts!

Ah girls I absolutley HAD to have a look at my cuts! They were so neat! The stitches are see through so I have to make sure I don't have any little spots come up (stitches coming through the skin)

Now booked in for my 6 week check up and hope I don't have to go back till then :-)

So when I got home me and my sister had the reveal as the nurse only showed me my cuts. And............
I LOVE MY BOOBIES SO MUCH! They are just so perfect right now! wahooooooooo my grin literally goes all round my head!

How u girlies doing? I'm feeling a bit tender now but boy am I glad that tapes gone... Now just get this sticky crap off...hmmmm she only gave me 1 wipe. xxxxx

The little spots are where the dissoable stitches are pushing through the skin. She said only go back if they irritate me and they'll cut me and pull them out.... Errrrrrrrrr!!!! I do not fancy that one bit! Grose!xxxx

Ok girls so I can admit today is the first day since my BA that I have felt in actual 'pain' funnily enough its not my boobs at all. Its my ribs. I feel like I have bad bruising on my ribs like under my arm pits.

But on the plus side I have totally amazing boobies. That are over a week old Haha :-)

I feel good today i thought i had over done it yesterday but i am good today although i seemed to have lost all my muscle definition in my legs over the last 2 weeks haha, need to get back to normal.

My pedicure was lovely. And was even better as it was followed by a proper shower! I felt a million pounds last night!

Yeah my boobs were right under my armpits but their beginning to move now. I notice it more at night!

So todays my first day back at work. But my boss has let me work 8-12 which is great. Xxxx

Lucky lady half day not so bad hope it all goes well hon take it easy and don't over do it :). I'm going to quietly die on the sofa haha

My boobs are starting to feel less under my armpits now (they don't rub on my arms as much) and are really starting to have a more round look!! I actually want them to stay how they are now and reaaaaaaaly don't want them getting smaller- bigger is welcome though! Hahaha xxxx

I'm ok xx I've spent all day getting a weeks worth of outfits ready for my start back at work tomorrow xx it's been difficult because the dressings I've got come way over the bra ha ha so you can see them through shirts etc
So I had to go through all my boxes of stored clothing today and dig out vests to wear underneath my clothes so you don't see the big square bandages :tears: Then all the trousers needed taking up as they were too long and everything is a squeeze cos I been sat on my bum for 2 weeks Arghhhhhhhhhhh, cue major meltdown about midday today hahahah xx plus another rant at my ISP for being terrible!! xx

Ooooooo, on the plus side, my hair looks great!! xx I'm so pleased with it xx I love it and what she's done xx

Awwwww Kay....when does your wrap come off? Mine is quite high too, due to come off on 11th April! booooo will have to go through my clothes at the weekend.
Was doing ok for most of the afternoon but feeling the need for a painkiller now, going to get the hot water bottle on the go later, will hopefully help the back pain in the night...

My wrap is off thank goodness xx but as I had a lift they put some gauze dressings over the top of them until the 6th xx they are square shaped though and come up quite high on my boobs, not a good look haha xx

I think I've managed to disguise them quite well though xx

SSJJ make sure you keep on top of those pain killers hun xx they really do help with the first few days xx Hope you sleep better gorgeous xx

Oh no on the clothes front how frustrating, I had to go and buy some high neck dresses yesterday to cover my chest band lol bloody nightmare.

Took a peak at my incisions today yuk they look horrible can't wait for them to heal. My boobs are defo getting softer righty is a bit sore today but I prob feeling it more having a cold.

Hey ladies....hope you are getting on ok back at work and not lifting too much.....Sharon hope your cold is on the mend....I've woken with a bit of a sore throat...so just going to bombard myself with loadssss of fruit lol.... Boobs still feel very puffy and feeling them under my arms too....feel like michelin woman haha.....
I lent over lasst night to pick a glass up and felt something twitch in my right boob.....no pain now, but I must remember not to stretch.
Do you have any idea when it would be safe to venture out for a night out, as planning on Easter weekend...3 weeks off yet...hmmmm...here's hoping :) Thinking of you all today.....XXX

Lola i hope your sore skin is easing up and you are getting through your 9.5 hours today.

My cold is loads better still have the snotty nose (lovley) and ver sore throat now but i dont feel ill so i can handle the rest, its just awful when you feel ill. Good call on the fruit ssjj lots of vitamin C.

haha my boobs have moved from under my arms today and i am actually feeling pretty good i am hopefully over the worst of it now yay thats probably wishfull thinking as i am only 11 days post op lol.

ssjj so you'll be about 4 weeks post op i guess by easter, im sure you will be fine by then but if you have to wear your sports bra still that'll be fun trying to find something that'll go with it :-). You probably just over stretched my ove wouldnt worry, i had unders so my recover is a little longer than yours, lola had overs and has been able to have more movement in her arms than me. I am venturing out tomorrow night with my bf woo din dins and cinema i cant wait to feel like a human being again.....

Ahhhhhh hiya girlies! Works ok! Feel better today! Works actually going quite quickly! Nearly lunch time! Wooooooooo! My left cut is still burny burny itchy stretchy. But its ooooook :-)

So looking forward to shopping tomorrow! I have like no clothes to wear! That make my boobies look nice whilst covering my sports bra and I'm comfortable in!

SSJJ I could go on a night out now although I wouldn't drink yet. And I think I'd still be V nervous about someone bumping into me! Ouchy! You do get random stabbing pains and twinges. But apparently its all normal and part of the healing process! Xxxx
