Boob greed arrrggghhh

I thought it would never happen as I've been over the moon with them the past few days but yesterday I went to see a group of friends and a friend was there who had her BA done a few months back. She was complaining that hers were too small (she had 280s) but they look bigger than mine! I recalled everyone saying previously who had seen her new boobies that hers were perfect but indeed small. So, the same people said that mine were the same as hers now... i.e small.
I've tried to put it in the back of my mind as I know there's a lot of dropping and fluffing etc etc for mine to go through but all day my stupid sports bra has been really, really digging in so I went and tried on one of the softer sports bras I used in pregnancy. One which was a 32C. Well, it fitted perfectly. I then measured using a tape measure and I'm a 26-27 inch ribcage and 33inch bust. So that makes me a 30D or a 32 B! I'm really, really upset. I do fill out the 30E bra I'm wearing, but that's probably because I'm wearing a stupid strap and they are super swollen up the top.
I feel really stupid for being excited about being an E cup, was a complete lie and I still have small boobs.
I know I still have a lot of changes to go but I know they aren't going to increase by 2 inches, are they? Boo.

Firstly hunni, at 5 days post-op your boobs will be high, the skin will be tight and nothing at all like you end up with!

It really isn't worth getting measuring tapes out and trying out bras for sizing at this stage as I assure you, this is no indication of your resulting size and you have so many changes to go through before you actually see what you will end up with. Your boobs need to drop hun, as they do this, the lower pole of the breast fills out, this also then gives more forward projection, known as 'fluffing' Just give your boobs time to go through the healing process sweetness.

After my surgery I was wearing 32/34/36 DD bras - at 12 weeks post-op when I went for a proper fitting after my boobs had settled I was then wearing a 32F.

Honestly hun, if I had a pound for every woman I've heard worrying about size right after surgery and then coming back saying how amazed they were by their actual size after their fitting when they'd healed I'd be sitting happily in the Bahamas sipping cocktails right now LOL. xxxx

I've just seen your pics hun, and you don't look small AT ALL!!! I know you're still swollen and things but you're going to look absolutely fantastic when they're settled. And the volume you have in the upper pole where it's swollen is going to shift to the lower pole as your skin stretches so that you achieve that more natural, but fuller look.

I really think you've got a great result, and they look fantastic on you. I would be delighted!! When I walked through the door my OH said "I thought you were having a boob job" (just as a light-hearted joke), because we both thought I looked smaller than we expected. It really played on my mind for days, and I felt exactly like you are right now for a little while, but now I'm over it and I love them. As they start to settle, you will get back that love for them that you had, and I have no doubt they may very well increase by 2 inches, especially as they are unders and your muscles need time to relax! Think of it like gripping a sponge in your hand, and then releasing the muscles in your hand and seeing the sponge expand!

flower girl, you are still at a very early stage, I agree with the 2 ladies above that you need to wait until they settle. I have not been through it yet, so I do not have any comments. But from your pictures, they look amazing!! and you should be super stoked and be patient. It'll come!

It is possible that your boobs look a lot smaller at the moment because they are bound down and can't wear proper bras yet. My boobs look unspectacular at the moment because I'm still wearing a surgical bra. My mum has been staying with us after my op and didn't say much about my boobs. When I got them out of the surgical bra to show my sister, mum just about fainted. "I didn't realise they are so enormous" were her words.

So given time, with "fluffing", with sexy bras and sexy tops, they will look spectacular. 375 cc implants are not small- I was initially planning on having 355 cc implants which my PS said was his average implant size. We ended up doing 380 cc which he could barely fit in.

You are so early days hun that you have lots of changes.

Also, with a 26-27 ribcage you are more like a 28 back and a D or E cup just now. You will drop and fluff and find you are wearing nowhere near your true size just now.

I am feeling a bit better today. They are less swollen at the top, although nowhere near dropping. Still loads of implant at the top and look incredibly 'flat' but if I bend over slightly I can see how big they may end up being.
Just being greedy really. After looking at pre op pics it cheered me up and I have to remember my PS prob couldn't have fitted in much more than 375 and i would never have braved going to 460+ to make a marked difference from what they are now. I have to trust him that 375 will eventually take me to a D/ DD which is what I asked. Before I had my surgery I double checked with him that it would and he looked at me like I was mad and laughed at me and said yes it would definately, so I have to be patient. Also, by having such a tiny frame, a C or a D cup is going to look pretty big anyway. Just got to wait the remaining 7 weeks in this disgusting life restricting support bra until I can hoist them into a nice push up.
I just want to make sure that the £3800 was worth it as I can ill afford it, so it better have been!

If it makes you feels better hon, I'm not happy either. I asked for D's and I appear to have c's. If i could go back in time i would aks for double dd's or E's. I under estimated how large my frame is compared to bob size, and I have been through untold pain, irritation and restriction, as well as not being able to work and I shelled out £4700, plus bra costs, hotels, petrol for my boyf and mate, and a hundred other things.

I STILL NEED THIS WHOLE THREAD. I LOVE my new size, my PS picked the CC's for me and got it right on the first try (he's a great listener cause I had no idea how to describe how I wanted my final result). But now, for some reason I am obsessed with thinking I should be as BIG as possible, like the "bigger the better" or getting my money and time and PAIN'S worth by being as BIG as possible. Silly I know but it niggles at me. Plus, at only 20 days I keep thinking I am looking at my end result. It is so comforting to read what you ladies who have EXPERIENCED this have to say. I had no idea the wracking emotional rollercoaster this would have on me, even though I wouldn't trade my boobies for anything now.
