Re: Re-Op Buddies
I met Frankie Frasers son on Sunday (my best friends stepdaughter has a child with him). I so wanted to ask about his Dad (I'm well nosy) but refrained and just shook is hand. I kept my mouth shut though...just incase like father like son lol. Mind you might have saved me £46.50 at the dentist today

Re: Re-Op Buddies
Hi girls sorry to moan but I'm just airing my thoughts as I pluck up courage to email my clinic tomorrow. I have had a niggle since the surgeon told me he was going to replace my implants with around 400cc. He isn't changing the profile as he says its fine and is just going to put another 90g which is 7.5mm wider than I have now.
In a previous post one of the surgeons on here told me to be careful as that isn't that much of a difference. I'm really worried that I will end up disappointed again.
I'm not sure what I can demand in terms of what the surgeon does with my re-op and I don't want to tell him his job but I can't get it out of my head at the moment and its driving me a bit mad! xx

Hi Peachy try to get as much info as possible and I'm sure this is the right place to ask for it. Why don't you put a question out on the main forum?

Re: Re-Op Buddies
OMG April is here only a couple more weeks now and this will hopefully be all over and I won't have to consider more surgery for at least a good few years. I was wondering the other day if I would have bothered if I had known I would have a repeat performance so soon!!! I feel so blo*dy selfish risking going under the knife again. Oh well all part of the process I expect examining my own mortality and nerves and that feeling like I can't catch my breath will all be on their way to me soon aswell. Deep breaths!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am excited to be getting it sorted but hope its worth it!!!

Re: Re-Op Buddies
Peachy are you having to pay for your reop?
I've got a consultation next Wednesday and will have more of an idea what I'm having done in May. Don't know size yet or how long recovery will be as having to have the old ones removed along with the scar tissue!.

Re: Re-Op Buddies
Hi hun, yh course I'll let you know x. Yh going bigger beacuse I have some loose skin from having a baby a year ago and I don't want the scars of an uplift so getting a bigger implant to fill out the skin, but I've been let down quite a lot by my surgery company and have had to pay for my revision surgery which should have been free because my contract covered me for 3 years for cc so I got the naturelle implants free of charge as compensation for what's gone on over the last year. I was supposed to have surgery on 31st march but when I called to see why my driver was an hour late, I was told my surgery had been cancelled!! X

Re: Re-Op Buddies
Oh that must have been awful for you. Why did they cancel at such short notice. Is your CC bad? I've had my implants in for 10 years and have CC now. I'm not sure what size I'm going yet I have a meeting with my surgeon next Wednesday.

Re: Re-Op Buddies
they had an emergency at the hospital so no beds were available for me :( i was devestated lol x. the scar tissue has pushed the implants up slightly and they can be quite painful in the cold weater especially. my original surgery was may 2009 so nearly 2 years now x

Re: Re-Op Buddies
Have they told you what to expect or what the recovery is like?
I had to have my first reop 2 years after my first implants 13 years ago as they had given me trilucent which were then withdrawn from the market and they said if they ruptured they could cause cancer!!!! Both mine HAD ruptured :-(
The 2nd op was NOT as bad as the first.

Re: Re-Op Buddies
Hi sammie I have the Natrelles and have been really happy with them. Its hard to say what size you will end up hun but last time you went up 4 cup sizes with 410's so around 100cc per cup size which prob means you may go up another 2 so prob FF maybe G. It all depends are you having a profile change aswell?
How awful for them to cancel at such short notice for you hun but at least you will be sorted soon and will be rid of them nasty pips. Good luck xx

Re: Re-Op Buddies
Sammie, I've seen the pics of girls who have had all profiles and to be honest I can't tell the difference. Mine do stick out quite a bit though and look big from the side angle but they don't look big from the front. The ones you will be getting will be the same as mine hun I went with the same place as you. I'm just having serious jitters about the new size hes suggested and am going to push for more to make sure get what I want this time. x

Re: Re-Op Buddies
Has anyone started having wierd dreams yet? I dreamt last night that It was a week before op and a nurse was trying to make me take 11 tablets that were so huge I couldn't even fit them in my mouth. She told me if I didn't take them quickly I wouldn't be able to have the op.
Then my Ex husband walked into the room and I whispered to the nurse "It's my Ex so please don't talk about this infront of him"

Re: Re-Op Buddies
Im meeting with my surgeon again tomorrow.. I dont think the implants were big enough to fill out my skin as it kinda sags over under my nipple. Its only slight but enough to be noticeable. Also one is alot higher than the other & also smaller. I had 615 / 700 the difference between them was to much.
Iv been emailing my PC since about week 6 saying im not happy & she said its because they are settling & now after all this time there is no improvement.
So lets hope he doesnt try to fob me off.
