sleeping on my tummy/front
i keep waking up on my front. Im trying to sleep on my side, but wake up on my tummy.
It doesnt hurt or feel uncomfortable, but could i do myself any damage?
Im not sure how to prevent it

If it doesn't hurt Abbie I think you should be ok. I slept on my front quite early on after my reop with no probs xx

Me too. Hubbie keeps joking thats its the weight of my boobs flipping me over and drawingme onto my front. I'm 2 monthspost-op and have decided to keep wearing sports bra in bed as I am just more comfortable that way, especially when i keep ending up on my front!

As sally said if your not in pain then you should be fine. Personally I didn't sleep on my front for ages just cos it felt like I was lying on rocks. x

Re: sleeping on my tummy/front
I tried it last night. Felt weird at first and i could feel the pressure but wasn't so bad. I think it'll feel better as time passes and they settle as i've only had them for just under a month now.

I'm glad ou asked this because it has been something I've been thinking about. Day to day do you feel different or do they just feel a part of you? I've had the feeling of full to bursting when feeding my children and I imagibe it feels that way?

Re: sleeping on my tummy/front
They don't feel a part of me. And they haven't changed on a day to day basis. They started out tight, sore but the skin was numb. Now I've regained most of the feeling back in my skin. But some patches are still numb and the same goes with my nipples.
I was told it takes about 6-9 weeks before they feel a part of you. When you first get them done they feel real tight but i haven't had kids so i can't compare it to breast feeding stage.

Thanks highmaintainance, I bet 6-9 weeks feels like an eternity when you're not completely comfortable. I hope they start to feel a part of you soon!

Okay...this is a major concern for me too. I take sleep VERY SERIOUSLY!!!! :-) Really, I love sleeping, and I rarely sleep on my back...ug. I also heard that we are supposed to sleep in an inclined position? That sounds awful!!! Any advice/tips are greatly appreciated!! xoxox

I'm two weeks and been told if it's comfy to start on my side but I just feel nit comfy.
I know one day I'l sleep one mytummy again.
But don't forget.... We have to sacrifice for our boobies coz they are worth it!!!
