Day cases that have stayed overnight?
Hi girls...
I was just wondering if any of you have booked as day cases but ended up having to stay overnight anyway for whatever reason?
Also, if this happens do you have to pay for it?
(having to be very careful with finances at the moment and want to make sure I'm well prepared... have recently moved house and got a £400 gas + electricity bill for 2 months use, blooming winter and single glazing!!!!)

Re: Day cases that have stayed overnight?
Hi LL, one of the other girls had that happen to her and they didn't charge her for it - and I believe it was with James at the Nuffield in Plymouth as well. But it might have been because her operation had been put back and as it was their fault .......... I might be mistaken about the location though.
I would check with Olivia as her op was around the time I remember reading about it.

I would check with your own clinic's policy hun, but I was told at Transform that if I had to stay over for any reason, they wouldn't charge. xx

Re: Day cases that have stayed overnight?
Thanks girls. I think Mybreast are really good about their care policy and stuff. I'm really pleased I've gone with them. I'm hoping I won't have to stay overnight anyway cause I want to get home to the kiddies asap.
I have to be there for 7.10am on the day to register etc, so hopefully I'll have my op as first on the list!

Re: Day cases that have stayed overnight?
Hi hun, I was down as a day case with James and they were keen to have me stay, no extra charge, even though I booked in as a day case. I Just wanted to go home although I should have stayed really, got stuck in the night needing a wee and could have done with the nurses help! X
