Any1 ever regretted getting their BS..honestly??x
I have paid my deposit and just waiting now on my date being confirmed..n the doubts have started to kick in big time..ive wanted this for so long n after breastfeeding my baby its so needed but im so worried incase i get it n then regret getting it done..after spending all this money on it (think im feeling selfish coz the money could be spent on my home/family) n im so scared incase something goes wrong getting the GA or afterwards n i leave my baby without a mum (i know the risks are so low but im still so worried).
Has any1 ever gone through with their BA n regretted having it done honestly? Or has all the doubts n worries etc just gone away as soon as you see your new boobs?
Maybe im just stressing coz it feels so real now that ive paid my deposit xxx

Hey sweetie,
I worried a little bit before, mainly because of the money and like you i have a family and could think of a lot of things i could do with it instead of my body, but i knew inside it was what i wanted , i'd wanted it for so long.
Now it's done i'm so glad, even only being 8 days post op i'm so happy within myself and with my body, it's amazing the change in my opinion of how i look already, i can feel the lost confidence all coming back.
And as for the money, my kids have everything they need and never go without ( spoilt in fact ). But you can't buy your own happiness and confidence sweetie.

No I've not regretted it at all. I didn't need it but really wanted it as I'd never had boobs and wanted some so I'd feel like a woman. I'm so happy with them. Yes the money could have been spent on other things. New boobs cost me £3495 but feeling like a woman is priceless, I'd have spent anything.
Re: Any1 ever regretted getting their BS..honestly??x
I have never regretted it at all, it's the best thing I ever did for myself. I didn't get the pre op nerves that most people seem to get but it is very common.
At the end of the day, you deserve to do what makes you happy, and your kids deserve a happy mummy.

I had a lot of doubts after I paid my deposit before my surgery. Thinking the same things you are now about being selfish and that I could use the money on other things. However it has been a little over a month and I am so happy that I went through with it. My sister reminded me that those other things will always be there, why not do something special for yourself.

I understand exactly how you're feeling hun, I was the same I'm only 2 weeks post op and although still in the healing stages I have no regrets whatsover. Today I stood naked to my waist in front of my surgeon, a nurse and a mirror (my worst critic) - I felt confident and couldn't stop smiling at my reflection!!

I never regretted it hun, but it can be quite scarey once the date is confirmed. It's perfectly normal to be feeling like this, I'm sure we all had doubts and concerns, certainly about the op itself. My hubby was so scared I wouldn't come round after the GA, he was more nervous than I was but it all turned out fine and now I am a very happy bunny....hubby too!!!
Good luck hunnie, you'll be fine, honest.....

No, absolutely no regrets about having it done. You can spend that much on a really nice holiday and that lasts just 2 or 3 weeks and who feels guilty about going away on holiday.
No need to feel guilty hunnie and once you are on the other side, the change in how you feel about yourself is, as misf1 said, priceless.

I don't have any regrets either. I was nervous before hand but that is normal and once I had my new boobs I have never looked back. x

Hiya babes, I can honestly say although you pay all that money the way you feel afterwards you don't even think of the costs! Were not selfish being half a woman or not feeling womanly is torture! You can't put a price tag on how your going to feel.......it's priceless x x

Hi - I have never regretted a minute - was v nervous pre op but once you are the other side, everything is different.
I am generally a confident person but my new boobs make me feel much more womanly which given an inner confidence.
Nerves before hand are very natural- just take a deep breath & remember how long you have wanted it. It's a very common procedure so you will be fine & you will love the new you - without a doubt xx

Re: Any1 ever regretted getting their BS..honestly??x
I think once you've paid the deposit you feel that this has gotten to serious stage. It can be daunting. You wonder if you are doing the right thing. Fantasising about it or even saving for it doesn't feel so doom-some as paying for the deposit. It feels like you're getting to the point of no return. I remember thinking: 'oh my gosh I'm actually paying for this. I'm actually doing it. Is this what I really want?' And the answer is yes because of all the work I put into it. If I hadn't done it I would still be dreaming and wishing for it.
I think when you've dreamed about something so long your idea gets so big and expectant that it can intimidate you once you start making it real. You wonder if you'll end up disappointed. But you can't live like that really can you? Or you'd never get what you ever wanted.

You took the words right out of my mouth? I still haven't had mine yet. I am scheduled for the end of this month. I have been saving/planning for four years now. I did do a deposit two years ago but got too scared two weeks before. I ended up using some of the money on my house so it was a good thing I didn't do it at that time. I feel bad because I am using all of my savings but in the end I beleive it will be worth it.

Hi HUn ,
What you are feeling is a normal.........im a mum of 4 little ones & felt the same about the G.A but I was healthy & the risk was very, very small but still didnt make it any easyer for me.
I also put my op off 5 years ago for that very reason & my nerves got the better of me! & I regreted it the moment I spent my money
But I cant say it was the best thing personally I have ever done for myself & my family............Im no longer self conscious, I can take the kids swimming ( you would NEVER get me in a swimsuit with out me being totally stressed & ruining the day!) I can wear clothes with confidence & feel like women so to me there was so many ++ which made it worth doing.
Youll be fine hun.....

Hey Girls,
I have to just say how much everyones words are helping me. Just reading all the comments are great because I feel the same way. I am going to meet my surgeon tomorrow and pay the deposit. My date will be in March - it's booked for the 30th now but i may move it sooner. I have been wanting this for 12 years. My worries are somewhat regarding the fact I have not had children yet but I feel like I can't keep putting this off.
Reading everyone's advice helps give me confidence that these are jitters and I'm on the right path.
Thanks again

I am a mom too and I had all the same worries as you Pre op. I felt sick about it leading up to it thinking about the possible problems and feeling selfish,
But now... I do not have any regrets, it has been one of the best things I have ever done... The whole process went quicker and easier than I could have guessed, and I feel great. We moms have the hardest job in the world and we deserve to make ourselves happy too!
Don't worry Hun u will b fine and you deserve this!
