Anyone not had a lift...and regretted it?
When i had my consultation my surgeon said something about 3 grades of nipple and that mine were 2nd grade (i didn't listen that closely) He said that with the augmentation when they dropped the bottom would be filled out leaving the nipple in an ok place but that i might need a lift in a few years time. I'm thinking looking at them now hat they are a little bit saggy to be honest and that i could have done with the lift. Not sure i could have stood the pain to be honest if a straightforward BA is still painful for me more than 3 weeks down the line.
I will obviously wait a good 6 months until everything has settled before i even think about anything else and to see what the finished 'effect' is but has anyone else been in the same boat?

Re: Anyone not had a lift...and regretted it?
I'm not having a lift so havnt done any research but the first time I had a consultation, in the first meeting with a PCC, she showed me a picture if a woman who needed a lift but didn't opt for it and just had implants.... I will never do that because it looked quite bad, just what she had before but bigger and heavier, if you need a lift I think we should always go for it lol xx

However I'm not how bad the sagging was, it could have been extreme hence the results xxx

Also sorry to keep commenting, cookie has a great diagram on the different levels of sagging and level two wasn't a major one x

I had ptosis (sagging) mine was grade 1 so I managed to get away with just anatomical implants this time. I will however need a lift next time. I could have had a lift this time if I really wanted, but I decided that this time round it wasnt for me x

When I say got away with, it was upon my surgeons advice that I didn't have a lift.

Re: Anyone not had a lift...and regretted it?
You can see the levels of ptosis in the diagram below hun
I've had a BA and I've had a BA/uplift. To be honest I suffered no pain from the uplift incisions at all. The itching wasn't nice but the incisions themselves are no worse than that you have with a BA. You just have to be a little more careful.
In general... The position of the nipple pre-op is very important. With round implants the nipple position will basically remain in the same position but on a larger breast.
Having an anatomical implant however can give the nipple 'a little lift' for those with very slight ptosis.
You're right to allow your new breasts to settle before making any decisions lovely. What you're looking at at 3 weeks post-op is definitely not the result you'll be looking at at 6 months post-op so I think you're being very sensible hun.
Hoping all works out for you. Xx

Re: Anyone not had a lift...and regretted it?
Interesting post. I'm at grade 1. Didn't have a lift this time. I'm happy with my boobs, they are much fuller so my nipple looks higher up and much better. Next time however should say i'll have the lift too xx

Looking at the pics i would have guessed mine were at a grade 1 also. Maybe in 10 years time when i have them replaced i will go for the lift as i am sure i will need it by then.
i have just typed that sentence, reread it and thought....will i really be having another boob job at the grand old age of 54!!!!! yikes

Lol Clazabella, 54 is no age now days, there is something for everyone :)
I must say I was having similar thoughts the other day when I commented on a post about how long between BA, if mine last the 10 years I will be 44 when they are replaced, pert boobs and saggy body haha

We've a lot of ladies including myself here who are 44+ and I certainly haven't seen one saggy body on any of them..
Look after your body and your body will look after you I say. Xx
Re: Anyone not had a lift...and regretted it?
I am 42, and I can fit into the same clothes as 20 years ago( i saved a lot of dresses)So true Cookie, if you look after yourself your body should be ok . If you look at Jennifer Anniston, Haile Berry, Salma Hayek they give a lot of younger women a run for their money xxx

Re: Anyone not had a lift...and regretted it?
They certainly do Jakki being 40+ is no age to be written off as 'saggy' and as you've kindly pointed out Jakki, there's many a role model out there to prove just that.
You've only got to look at Misty23's avi here to see how saggy a 40 year old can look - I'm tellin' ya, once you see those abs Jesper you'll take that sentence right back! Lol xx

Lol my body's not saggy just a tad over the weight I want to be. I don't think after 3 kids and smoking for 30 years ( I gave up 6 weeks prior to the boob job) I look that bad really

Re: Anyone not had a lift...and regretted it?
Sorry ladies, I didn't mean to offend anyone, I was talking about myself and certainly not suggesting that anyone else is saggy anywhere .
I will just sit here an take my foot out of my mouth!!
I am not someone who judges anyone else, sorry if I upset anyone

Re: Anyone not had a lift...and regretted it?
Oh dear Cookie, I am sitting here very embarrassed, truly just meant myself. Lol will take my words out and look at them in future, I totally agree that there are many ladies that are over 40 who would give many 20 year olds a run for their money
