1st Consultation
Hey I had my first consultation today with Mr Fallahdar through MYA in Bristol. I was quite suprised at what he said, he has offered me 340, 380 and 410cc in CUIs or 340, 375 and 400cc in the Natrelles. This really suprised me because I thought I would only be offered smaller sizes going up to about 340 max. He also said that I could have unders or overs which I was quite shocked by as I really thought that I would be told I could only have unders as I am only a 32aa at the moment. I am slightly confused because I dont know what to do as I have lots of choices now and I am quite bad at making descisions. I have another consultation on Monday with another surgeon in Bath so will see what his opinion is.
Did anyone who is a similar bra size and about 5'6" and size 8-10 have any of these sizes? If so how do look now? What size did you end up?
Thanks Tara xx

Re: 1st Consultation
Hi Tara,
I'm 5'6½" tall and size 10/12 and I had 420ccs Natrelles, extra full projection (TRX 420's if you have the catalog) and also unders. I am a 34/36DD (but might be an E in a 34 Band size - I really do need to get professionally measured). Hope that helps

Re: 1st Consultation
I was 34 b although one was bigger than the other so a small b, I had 390 and 420 overs and ended up 34dd/e. I too thought I would have to have unders as I was so small but didnt and I am very happy with my results xx

Re: 1st Consultation
I'm 5'7" and was a 32 - 34b and had 375 anatomical unders in the Natrelle High profile - I'm now about a 32DD and they look a very natural size. I know that Jellytot1 (don't be confused by the name, she is actually a different person from me! lol) had her BA in Bath, so you might want to ask her about her PS and if she'd recommend him if you live in the same area?
It sounds to me as though you may be better off with unders if you don't have much breast tissue or are borderline (I was offered overs by a different surgeon, but thought that they might look too 'false' for me)....definately talk to more than one surgeon and see what they say! Good luck in your investigations hunni!

Tara - if you are using a normal keyboard (and not a laptop one, which may be different):-
Press and hold down the [Alt] key and then whilst still holding it down press the numbers 0,1,8,9 in sequence (must be on the numerical keyboard on the right hand side of the keyboard and not the numbers beneath the F keys at the top of the keyboard). Simples LOL

Re: 1st Consultation
Hi Tara
I don't think Mr Sutton (who you are seeing next) will suggest you go that big, as he does alot of breast recon surgery he goes for a natural look - I am 5ft.6 in, size 10, weigh 9 stone and started off a 32A -
Mr Sutton suggested I went with 250 cc anatomical unders - I think I could have pushed for 300 cc, but not any bigger. As you know from our PM chats I went with another surgeon simply because Mr Sutton couldn't do the dates I wanted, I had 300 cc round unders and am very pleased with size so far (still wearing 34E sports bra). You may be a completely different shape from me though, so go along on Monday and see what he says - he is a lovely man. Good luck xx

Re: 1st Consultation
Hi hun,
what a lot of choices for you to make!! Didn't he give any indication of what option he thought would achieve the best result?
When you say you're 32AA... do you mean an empty 32AA (like someone who's breastfed), or a flat 32AA... so no "sag" as such. If You're of the "empty" variety, it might be why he offered you overs as well, because it is possible to achieve a decent look if you have enough skin to cover the implant... I'm a 32A and I thought there was no way I'd be able to have rounds, but they were the first thing my surgeon actually suggested!!
Having said that, if you're determined that you definitely want that natural "slope" in your upper pole, I would also suggest that anatomical unders would be the best option for someone of your size... Only a PS who's actually examined you can say that for definite, but I think that's the general rule really...
I'm 5ft7, 8st3 and size 8. Haven't had my op yet but I'm having anatomicals in the "dual plane" position!
Hope your next consultation provides some more answers!! Will you be taking pics of the look you want to achieve?
