I made the same mistake of doing things because I felt okay at the time of doing them but then I was so so sore and tired that it made me take things easy.
You can still walk around hun, just no cleaning baths or lifting or hoovering. I was back at work on day 9 and was so tired at the end of the day, even though I only work part time lol. After about 2 weeks you'll be feeling so much better but it takes around 6 weeks for the incisions to heal properly so you probably need to be taking it relatively easy until then. Give yourself until 2 weeks post op, then gradually increase what you do until you're able to go back to normal at 6 weeks.
