help with pips
Hi
Just a quick one. has anyone one on here had pips through Harley medical group?.
A friend of my cousin who i`m only in contact with is through text had her`s done prob a good 10 months ago and has pips in. She went to she her ps last week and they have told her if she wants them out she will have to pay for the surgery but they will replace the implants. Is this whats happening all round? She broke down and said she will sue they said she will loose. I have told her about this site so hopefully she will come on and explain more. cheers girls x

Re: help with pips
sorry hun, I dont know that much about PIPs but will move this to the PIP section where hopefully someone can offer some more advice.
How horrible for your friend, such an awful position to be in.

Re: help with pips
I'm affraid most companies will not replace PiP's for free unless within aftercare and have a rupture.
They're all being very cagey about it and the majority are quite unhelpful.
Some women are taking legal action, myself included and it's a slow moving process and no garuntee of winning.
With regards to replacement your friend needs to make sure she's happy to go back to her original ps or go elsewhere. Also research different types of implants and make sure she gets the right ones for her. They may not be the ones reccomeneded (PiP's were bulk bought as they were cheap and sold as a good quality implant and highly recommended) by her ps but they're not the one living with them.
HTH xx

Re: help with pips
Hi Wend,
Sounds awful what your friend is going through, i would ask her to check the paperwork and her aftercare package, most places have a 3 year aftercare (or so i think anyway) so she should still be covered. I hope it goes well for her. xx
KKKK,
I have Natrelles and they are fab, they are softer than my pips were but more pert, if that makes sense, i am so glad i spent a bit extra on them. Good luck for your op! xx

Re: help with pips
They are the better class of implants hunnie (alongside the Nagors). THG now use Natrelles or CUI implants ( click hereif you want to see the Natrelle catalog)

Re: help with pips
I had a ruptured PIP and had to pay to have them both taken out, but the new implants (Natrelle Inspira Reponsive) were free. I am taking legal action too.
The Natrelle do feel better than the PIPs its just a shame we have had to put our bodies through another op and all the recovery process again.
Hope things go well for your friend x
