Re: April Buddies!
i finish work sat night, i still dont know what time my op is on sunday, im waiting for them to ring, if they hav'nt by weds i sure am rining them, the suspense is killing me. my OH has'nt said much about the new boobies lately, i think he is feeling the nerves too. haha.xxxcharls87 wrote:Hey Dell,
here's a link for the tickers- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
(hopefully that works)
Me and the OH went for a meal on Saturday night and he looked at me, raised his glass and said....'Here's the the last weekend of your fried eggs!!!' and started rambling on like he was giving a speech about my small boobies! 'They have done there job over the years but its time for bigger and better things now..I will always have fond momories of them' YES he was a tad drunk! I could of sworn the waitress heard him too!! He's soooo embarrassing! Think its his way of showing his secret excitment!I was just trying to eat my pasta!! MEN!!
Yahhh last week in work!!!

Re: April Buddies!
Aww! thanks Jenbabes
We went to Centerparcs in Sherwood Forest. Was a lovely relaxing time.
It was weird in a way, because I've been planning my BA (properly) since December last year and the plan was always to have them done in time for my holiday.
Then, when my PS broke his ankle, I couldn't really do it until after my holiday and now that time's come, so it's all a bit weird at the moment. Like I've had this date in mind "after my hols" and now it's suddenly here. We're at that point!
Last week in work, this week for me too, hurray!
Tek, we're BA day buddies. I'm going in on Monday too. In fact, tomorrow we're officially in days as it's less than a week....eek!

Re: April Buddies!
Awww Gabby you will be find I am sure you wont turn into a basket case come sunday.
I am not sure how I am feeling. Think I still think its all a dream.
My mum has taken all of my hospital stuff she is going to wash and pack it all for me. All because I haven't got a travel bag small enough and did not see the point in buying one when she has a few from her travel holiday hehe.
Going to the hospital on Thursday morning for my MRSA check, and then to my friends for my waxing and tinting.
Wonder if I will get excited then?????? hummmm
Who is taking dressing gowns with them, and why????

Re: April Buddies!
Good luck to all you April Girlies!!
I had mine done the last day of March!
My advice is to Just prepare yourselfs for the recovery.. I thought it would be easy to be laid up in bed for a week but The waiting is probably the hardest part.. Try to get lots of rest and have lots of icepacks of frozen veggies to help soothe the swelling. I wasn't prepared for the swelling.
And one last thing no one told me about (sorry for the TMI) is constipation
I know its not the most loveliest topic but i feel i should warn you , I was never told this.. make sure that if you are taking pain killers that u are either taking stool softeners or some kind of tablet that helps you go! Because with the GA and the pain meds mixed it sure does a number on your bottom!!! I was in the bathroom for over a hour!! It was NOT pretty! Lol
I now have some herbal tea I drink that helps out with that problem!
Well I hope that this helps se of you lady's!
You all will do just fine! Good luck and happy healing!!!! :boobstick:

Re: April Buddies!
Hi amieencb
I am having my pr-op appointment this friday and I will ask the nurse about constipation but I think I will have my chinese tea, which I have just discovered which clears you out naturally, I don't think I want to take more tablets on top of taking painkillers, my PS it will be painful as I am having unders. Thank you for your advise
