Re: April Buddies!
Hi Girls,
tomorrow is the big day!! God i feel sick!! Very much doubt i'll get any sleep tonight! I'm allowed to have a light breakfast before 7am, and water up to 11am, being picked up at 11 and takes 2hrs to get to the hospital, so i'm hoping i'll be going in about 2, but don't find out 'til i get there tomorrow!
My bag is all packed next to me and i'm updating my ipad to keep me amused tomorrow, ooooooh so nervous!!!!
SG007 how did it go today?? Well i hope!!!
I'll try and get on here tomorrow and let you all know how I am.
Love this forum, it's great to be able to rant on to everyone about how I'm feeling :-)

aimeencb wrote:Drea, I have unders Hun and I did just fine!!
The swelling and getting comfy I would say are the biggest struggles for me! You will be fine Hun!!! I am 4 days out just got my wrappings removed and I feel great! No pain!!
You will be uncomfortable but it's not bad at all!! The constipation was The worse part for me lol..
Good luck everyone!!
Thanks Hun xx
Big weight off my mind knowing you had unders and are feeling ok. Have heard so many horror stories of unders being so much more painful than overs!! Been getting myself all worked up about it.
Hope you are recovering well.
I'm only having small implants so hopefully the pain/swelling won't be too bad BUT it will all be worth it in the end!
I can deal with being uncomfortable but not so good at coping with constant pain......
Are you sleeping ok at night?

Re: April Buddies!
Drea,
Everyone is different Huni so one person might have a horrible (unders) experiance and another might be just fine!!
I personally was ok.. Like I said it's uncomfortable but that's what the pain meds are for!! Lol
And about the sleep part.. It was a little difficult for me because It was hard to situate all of the pillow at the right angle that made it comfy for my neck and back.. So just be sure to have someone there with you to help you find a comfy position and who can fluff and fix up the pillows for you because it would be a struggle trying to do it on your own. But once I found I comfy spot I was fine,
I'm a side/tummy sleeper so I just don't really like back sleeping anyways.
Last night I had my first side sleep.. I was terrified that I would move the implant out of place or something crazy so I googled online to find helpful tips, I found that if u stick a
rolled up sock or small hand towel between your cleavage and rest the boob your that you are leaning on onto a pillow it works just fine (for me at least) I read to sleep on your back for 5-10 day for swelling but I just couldn't handle it any longer and it worked out for me. But everyone is different so we should all do as we are comfortable with doing!!
:boobchick: no worries huni!! Soon it will all be over and u will have forgotten all about you worries!

Re: April Buddies!
Hi ladies!!
Well, that's me home with my new assets. I have to say, i'm feeling really well. The pain isn't nearly as bad as i thought. hardly any in fact. just get the odd twinge when stretching a bit too far etc. All of the nurses at Kings Park hospital in Stirling were fab!! couldn't do enough for me. Was a little bit of luxury getting served hand and foot actually!
Smurph, you should be ready to have yours done any time now so GOOD LUCK!!!
