I didn't go with my breast, but I didn't have my own room as such, I had a shared room but the other girl was leaving as I went in, so I ended up haveing a room to myself lol. I would think you will have a room to yourself or at least only have to share with one other person.
I had anesthetic in theatre via a needle in my hand, it was verry quick.

I shared a room with a lady from Iraq who had just had a face lift but was very keen to chat lol and was up rummaging around in her handbag on and off throughout the night haha xx she was pleasant enough though xx the nurses kept telling her off lol xx
I was the same as Misf1, needle in the hand and then out for the count xx

I went through Transform and had my own room with en suite, from what I gathered when I was at The Abbey Pines, the day patients tend to have the shared rooms and overnighters have the singles.
I walked down to the theatre, lay on a bed and had a cannula inserted into the back of my hand, the general anaesthetic was then ijected into that. It's all done very quickly and the staff are extremely good at putting you at ease, before you know it you're waking up again! xx

Hi hun, I didn't go with my breast but I went private abroad and had my own private room with en suite it was lovely. As for the anaethetic, they put a needle in your hand (called a cannula - attached to a drip for a few hour after) and then they inject the GA and you think "it' not working" then the next thing you k now you wake up with boobies. xx
