Don't panic hun. Just take it easy today and drink plenty of water.
Chances are it's probably just a 24hr hour bug and you'll be just fine for your op

There has been a bit of a bug going round here, me and my daughter have had it and the sickness only lasted 12 hours and were fine within 24 hours so hopefully you'll be okay for tomorrow. Rest up and lots of fluids hun. Fingers crossed for you

Re: Help, sickness and BA day tomorrow!
Some of the children I childmind for had the bug last week and my daughter was ill on Saturday - I was dreading getting it and missing my consultation tomorrow, but at least it is only a consultation not my actual BA - so hope you feel better soon.
When you feel like eating, try a mashed banana with sugar - the potassium helps you get better quicker, then try ready salted crisps to get the salt back into your body - loss of salt is what makes your muscles ache so much and drink sugary drinks to replace the fluids and give you some energy.
Wishing you a speedy recovery xxx

Re: Help, sickness and BA day tomorrow!
Glad you are feeling better - don't overdo it now by rushing around trying to do all the things you wanted to do before your BA - try to eat a small meal tonight - something light and easy to digest (poached fish or chicken, with rice or mash potato) and plenty of fluids as tomorrow you won't be able to eat anyway and you will end up with an almighty headache and your stomach will think your throat has been cut!
Will be thinking of you tomorrow - I'm excited just at going for my final consultation to sort out size. Just worried about the fact my husband has to come to stay in the car and entertain the 3 children I look after while I have my appointment - I haven't told 2 of the parents yet and one little boy I'm sure will tell tales!!
