Swimmer trouble!
It is coming into summer here in Australia and I seem to be facing some trouble buying a bikini...
I have been to a few surf shops and department stores and even looked online and it seems to me here in Australia there is a VERY limited selection of bathing suit/bikini tops that are made for large boobies. There are swimmers around made for large woman with large busts, but not average body with large busts. Most of the Aussies swimmer designers do make a few bikini tops that are made for d/dd maybe an E but they ALL are full coverage full support unflattering styles.
I have found an American website that has tonnes of cute bikinis made for big boobies which I will order from If I dont find anything around homes soon.
So I am wondering if you ladies share this same delimma, and would love any suggestions for places/websites to look at?
Thanks xx

I was looking forward to walking into a store and choosing any bikini (or bra or top) that took my fancy - is this not the case?! Didn't consider that it might be just as hard to find for bigger boobs as small boobs. What about a website like Figleaves - do they deliver to Oz?

I would of thought you'd have plenty of choice in OZ ... Its surf central!
Im thinking online would be the best bet for larger sizes though...

I so wasn't prepared for not being able to buy any bra I pleased! Here a lot of bras don't go past a DD or shops just don't stock past a DD but I have to admit, it's not a problem I really mind having lol

I agree Kittie its a small price to pay for great boobs! :boobchick:
I feel as though having a BA is only just becomming more of a regular thing here in Oz so I dont think that stores have caught up yet.
It is surf central, and I live on the coast so I am minutes from beaches and surrounded by surf shops but they really dont have a lot of big sizes.
Online shopping for me this afternoon!! xx

Re: Swimmer trouble!
Hey Sarah! I went shopping on the weekend for swimmers (it has never been such a challenge in the past) I ended up buying size 8 bottoms and size 12 top (which was very exciting) but it was quite hard and I think i tried on over 100 bikini's, so many didnt offan any support and i felt like I was bursting out of them (and I am not overly big on top)
can you let me know what american site your looking on hun? I might have to take a look xx

Hey girls... I know its horrible here! I did try a couple 16 tops but did not like and ofcourse I am no where near a 16 bottom... and most of the swimmers sold in seperates dont come in a 16 top.
The bikini top I am wearing in my avatar I bought in Canada like 5 years ago when I was pregnant and had huge boobs, the only problem with it is it is white and been worn and washed a lot and is boardering on see-through, and defintatey would be when wet.

Have you tried Roxy? I bought a couple of their bikinis while I was over there in Cairns a few months ago in size 10 and they fit my Aussie 12D boobs, plus with strings on the bottoms it makes it easier to fit... hoping they still hold in my new ones once they settle in :) Good luck!
