Toilet trouble!
I don't usually have a prob with constipation but hadn't been for a week since before my ba and today was the day I had to go! Just wanted to say to all you pre oppers please eat loads of fresh fruit namely prunes etc. or take stool softeners if you have trouble because I literally felt like I was giving birth x sorry for the openness but had to share :)))

Re: Toilet trouble!
Haha, good to know misty! I was 4 days before I hit the lactulose to get things moving. Have to say, that was my least favorite side affect of the GA!

Re: Toilet trouble!
Haha... Good post babe. Sennakot is good for helping you go if you need a little help. Just take it before bed and you give birth the next day
Re: Toilet trouble!
I was the same misty! Drink lots of water ladies and yes the senna tablets helped. I also read advice on here aswel to massage your tummy on the loo and this seemed to help me. A fist on the tummy and circle movements. It's not a nice experience at all tho haha xxx

Re: Toilet trouble!
When I went to visit my parents in Denmark this summer I ate a big bag of soft liquorice in less than 5 minutes.
It solved the type of problem you have. Quickly.
Like in 30 minutes
A lot more effective than the medications they sell in pharmacies.

Re: Toilet trouble!
Lmao Dynorod....
I have the same probs as Bizzy really so I'm definitely going to buy some senna... Oh what a pleasure awaits
I don't think codeine helps either, it bunged me badly when I had a bad back so if I can manage without it I will (but probably won't manage without it at all)
Gladyou're clear now Misty!!!

Re: Toilet trouble!
Hahahah... 'do you need me to call dynorod? brilliant!!! This and the taped on knickers surely makes this the best BA tale ever!!
On a more serious note I think the fruit diet may begin a few days before and I may even invest in some prunes! Best make sure I buy some air freshener as well (either that or I'll just blame the whiffs on the kids!!)x
