See I thought it was onlu unders/partials that had nerves that needed to knit back together. Also I had mine all done through the nipple so mine are totally numb - the pain is all "inside" if you know what I mean!!!

I do go and look in the mirror every time I go to the loo and smile :D

Yes I think I know what you mean - mine were unders and the tingling seems to come from the back of the nipple area, not the nipples themselves

I do go and look in the mirror every time I go to the loo and smile :D

I know, it's smashing and I get a warm, giggly, happy buzz inside me. It's WONDER-FUL :heehee:

Hello fellow Dec buddies! I am aching today with my left boob being the worst, lefty is still harder and higher than righty which I think is already starting to soften and drop. All in all I am fine! Really pleased and other than a little bored with daytime tv feeling tip top!

Lou I feel the same except my righty is the higher harder one (it haf the larger implant though) and my left is already much softer and lower.

It's early days though and we have a few weeks til we can see the full result! xx

Are you left or right handed? I am right handed and wondered if that had anything to do with quicker healing on that side shrug

That is what I am led to believe Loubyroo - I am right handed and my rightie is progressing faster than my leftie.

I thought the your stronger side would take longer and the weaker side being weaker would adjust quicker. I soo hope you are right x

My right is still higher/harder because that is the larger implant (was my smaller side) - I am right handed too.

I got morning boob this morning OUCH. Ice pack was lovely :)

I think I was lucky in that respect, yeah, it was an ickle,wickle bit painful from going from the semi inclined position to bolt upright, but it passed away within a couple of mins and after that I was fine.

Only a few more days to go!! Im kinda annoyed at the moment, iv called MYA twice now to get an admission time & they dont know.

But yet 2 other girls are having the same surgeon, on the same day & they know. Grrrr

Hi dec ladies

I was in the middle of writing a post and my laptop went dulalli and it vanished!? So it you find another post somewhere else that sound like this... soz!

Anyway.. hoping this finds you all well? Ive had a bit of post op blues over the last few days but am feeling a little brighter... physically am on my feet and not in any real pain which is cool... it nice to be able to move around again!

As for my boobs they seem to have a life of their own, hard then soft, high then low, so I am just letting them get on with it...! So long as they are healthy then I am fine with that!

Yay at least you have your admission time now! It's mad when you think how many boobs are operated on every day...the fact you know 2 other girls on the same day! Surgeons must be making a fortune ;)

Lea - I have had that too...felt really low even though I'm not really in pain at all (just uncomfy). Hopefully it'll pass soon & we can enjoy our lovely boobs!!

Yup im 10, another is 11 & one is 1 ... & thats just for Mr Singh. Imagine how much ££ they make with all the other surgeons aswell!

At least being in at 10 hopefully ill be one of the first & wont get delayed.
I might call my PC again monday as the nurse sounded confused when I explained the different implant sizes I wanted there.

hey,

I have been in quite a bit of pain but i am so glad i have done it! I have wanted one for years, and always put it off! It's day 4 now and i hate sleeping upright but i am soooooo looking foward to a shower and to sleep normal. £ more days wahooo!! Its strange really because i never even thought about the after bit! well......never thought it was going to be like it is now! but no pain, no gain!!

Finally been to the loo as well which I was so worried about lol! (as i havent been since the day before my op) although a few tablets did the trick! he he! hows everyone recovering? or how are the nerves?? x x x

Hey Lovelylittlesmile!

I was done on the 14th so am 5 days post op. The hospital gave me codeine as I couldn't take the other painkillers and that bungs you up big time! I finally went on Friday and it was such a relief!! I tried sleeping in bed last night and had a terrible night leaving me with a really sore back. So back on the sofa it is for me tonight! Much more comfortable and I stay propped up all night!!
