I am 2 days post op and I have swelling between the breast but not at the cleavage but at the bottom of the breast bone where the ribs meet in an arch. Is this normal I got pics if someone could have a look

Re: HELP SWELLING
Hey hun, swelling is very normal!
I had quite a lot of swelling between my breasts, have you been icing them? I iced mine quite a lot in the first few days and this helped :) it has only been two days so dont worry it will go down :) rest up chicky.

Swelling and discomfort in that area is completely normal hun, in fact my ribs hurt more than the boobs! ice packs are good hun and I heard somewhere that drinking pinapple juice can help with swelling.

I also had a lot of swelling between my boobies and all over my ribs. I had hardly any swelling on my boobies but as kittie said it goes down pretty quickly.

Re: HELP SWELLING
All normal hunni, you're only 2 days post-op so will have quite a bit of swelling just now, you may find it gets a little worse today, day 3 is 'usually' the worst but it's nothing to worry about.
The sooner you get yourself up and mobile the better, I know you're uncomfortable at this stage but do try and get up and have a little walk around a couple of times during the day, it really helps sweetie and ice packs bags of frozen peas/rice wrappen in towels placed on your boobs will be your best friend! xx
