Ok so iv read a few things on the Internet about implant sizes being reduced by half a cup size due to being placed under the breast tissue...well I asked my surgeon and he said absolutely not it doesn't change the size of the end result wether it's under or over.just letting everyone know so u don't get wrong information like I did and consider bigger implants due to thinking mine would be squashed n smaller x

no I agree they dont reduce the size hun, I don't have unders myself but a few girls have changed from unders to overs and they still wear the same bra size after, so it can't make that much difference

Hey hun, I had unders and my surgeon told me that I would lose 10% of the size... but you definitely wouldnt lose half the size!
I think everyone is different as misf1 said some girls have gone from unders to overs and havent changed size so I think it depends on the individual :)

That's good to know, I am having unders in 19 days and I forgot to ask yesterday at my consultation! Having 450 cc round implants and when I tried them in my bra I actually looked like I used to pre baby! I actually cried!

I can understand that feeling, my hubby took a picture of me when we were on our honeymoon, i was missing about after having to much to drink and i flashed him. I found the picture last month and the before having a baby and after is heart breaking.

I've been told that unders would be better for me so i'm happy to hear that as well.
