still see my scars!!
ok so i had my op about a month ago.. having a really easy time of it as recovery goes..
just the major boob greed taking me over me through this period tho!!
Anyhow i had 255cc implants and i started out flat as a board!!.. sexy!.. i am 5.9 slim build and now wearing a 32 d sports bra!..
i now have a big .. BIG concern!!... my scar are still visible from standing sideways to the mirror and in front.. slightly from a distance!!..is this just my implants have not dropped yet , or will this always be the case!!.. i dont even know if they have or not!!.. so confused!!..
im not going to lie i wish i had chosen the 295cc, as maybe if they were bigger the scars would be covered !!.. any advice on this ??. seriously contemplating a re op if .. my boobs are too small to cover the incision area!!

Re: still see my scars!!
1 month post op is still very very early days jamie. Give your boobs time to drop and I'm sure the scars will be less visible. You need to have patience, it can take up to a year for implants to settle fully. I know it's hard but try not to inspect the scars all the time.

I'm sure they will change my scars stayed visible for a good few months, they are now quite hidden in the crease. As for size I would wait a bit longer too, it can also take a few months to notice the changes but with unders as the muscle is traumatised during the op they can hold the implant down quite a lot, it can take 6 weeks or more for muscle to repair itself and recover from this trauma, then you have settling and dropping to do, so I wouldn't worry about scars or size yet as in the next few months they could totally change. Sports bras are also terrible they dont flatter at all do they. I'm sure you will feel much better when you are able to wear pretty bras.

Hi Jamie, have you tried using Bio Oil, I used it 4 years ago when i had spinal surgery on my neck and the incision was made through the front of my throat. The incision looked liked someone had cut my throat, after the stitches were taken out i started rubbing Bio Oil in it and now it is almost invisible. I will be using it after my surgeery on Monday.

It's best not to use any oils or lotions on your scarring hun until you get the OK from your PS as you'll be at risk of infection. Most of us start using Bio Oil from about 4-6 weeks depending on which surgeon you use. xx
Jamie - Give your boobs time to fully heal hunni. 1 month post-op is very early to be getting worried sweetness, your boobs can take up to 1 year to fully heal along with your scarring hun, so you still have plently of changes and time ahead of you. xx
Re: still see my scars!!
thank you . god your surgery sounds hellish!..
hope you are well now. my surgeon recommended bio oil to me also. Just i wasn't sure when to apply. Apparently you are not to apply any creams or lotions for a few weeks until the nurse says so!.
so i just wandered if everyone was also advised this!. my first thought was to wack it on you see.. could have caused an infection!
good luck with your... boob surgery this time!. how exciting!!!!
