How long do you have to go without sex after your BA?

Suppose theres no time limit depends when u feel better, i dont think in the first 2 -5 days u will want too! (although think some girls on here did with sports bras on and very gently, i left it about 2 and half weeks probs )I felt far from sexy cudnt move that much didnt do me hair or make up lol. meant to be 6 weeks before strenuous activity so i suppose it depends on positions aswell maybe you on top is better so ur boyf doesnt squash them xx

I cant actually remember how long i left it though thats a very rough guess rom when i started to do most othr normal stuff like driving Xx

Ahh right, okay, thanks, haha :) My boyfriend wanted to know :') Typical! Gonna book my BA soon when I decide on the clinic, y'see. And can you wash properly and that after your BA?

I was OK in the shower after 3 days as I couldn't get my dressing wet but washed my hair by myself and everything. As for the Sex part, you call the shots if it hurts in any way, shape or form stop but there are lots of girls on here that go for it very soon after the op and on top would be the best position with a bra on.

im day 10 post op and my fella finding things difficult with the no sex thing especially when i say to him can you check my breasts for bruising and scars lol... he takes a little trip to the bathroom lol... i am quite happy to tease still at the moment hehehehe Hysterical

as for the cleaning i strip washed for 2 days and used dry shampoo, then had shallow baths for 2 days and my daughter washed my hair over the bath, then day 5 i had my first shower it was bliss, i dried my steristrips with a hair dryer..

you'll know when you feel up to sex. i strip washed and had shallow baths for 10 days as i couldn't get my dressings wet, then on day 10 i had check up and dressings removed. i could shower at that point and just dried my steri strips with the hairdryer.

i had very gentle sex on day 4, but he did all the work. I could barely change position myself lol

I was aloud to shower the morning after surgery. I guess it depends on the dressings they use

I was told no sex for a week then only gentley afterwaeds to be honest though im only feeling comfortable now lol ...... I was able to have shallow baths the next day as long as i didnt get my dressings wet xx

i wasnt advised on how long to leave sex for it was 6 days after as for washing i had shallow baths as was told not to get steri strips wet they are off now so said wash as normal just dont lie there with them in water for ages and pat scar dry instead of rubbing

hey i read some wher enot to have ex for 2 weeks as it raises your blood presssure, but i had it after a few days so just take it easy x

I came out of theatre with no bra at all, and just had to put on one of my own that I'd brought with me later on when I was back in my room. x

I was put into my sports bra when I was still a bit out of it after GA but had to buy my own. Some clinics do supply them but not all. It's worth checking.

Steristrips are basically just little sticky strips that you sometimes get given to put over your scars after dressings are off.

Day 3 because I felt so sorry or OH as it had been a week but he did all the work and I was all nice and clean and hair washed it I hadn't have been no way would he have got some lol x

I woke up with a surgical bra on and my tracksuit pants, those drugs must be good ! and I went into theatre with my own undies and a surgical gown own.

I'll be sure to wear cotton knickers then haha! And do they take the gown completley off you when you're in the op?
