Newbie- Don't know what to do..?
A bit of a stupid post but I can't decide whether to go for it or not!
Friends and family are horrified with the thought of me getting a BA and I know for a fact it would mean losing a few friends if I did it, but I also know I will never be happy if I don't!!
DILEMMA!!
I know I am lucky enough to be fairly large at a 30F, but I lost weight some time ago and they dropped from a 32H/34GG.
I don't want to seem silly, but after seeing my appearance then and now I miss them!!
No matter how many people have said they wish they had my breasts they still depress me when I look in a mirror :/
They don't sag, they're just not full like they used to be! And having wide 41" hips I'm still a bit bottom heavy! :(
Am I silly and selfish to risk losing friends for boobs??

IMO if you lose them over this decision they weren't your friends to begin with, the choice is yours only to make and opinions are all they are allowed.
BTW you look great in your pic for natural breasts.
Go with what you want I say.

Welcome to BJSF!
Do what makes YOU happy sweetheart, your friends and family aren't living your life and it's your body to decide what you want to do with it. I actually think they're the silly and selfish ones for imposing their opinions on you in such a way, you're scared of losing them!
If you feel a BA will make you happy then go for it. My familt werent happy either when I told them I was getting a BA but they're fine now and think my boobs are lovely! xx

Welcome to the site hun.
You should do what makes you happy, it's your life. If they acting like this over your BA then I would say they aren't real friends and not worth hanging on to.

Hey babes i strongly agree with katita if they are true friends then they would be there for you even if they dont agree with you....
You have to do what you want to do and live your life the way you want to.
At first my familiy especially mum and dad werent happy when i said i was going for it .... I took mum with me to my consultation and she saw how happy i was when we where trying on the implants and how good the the surgeon was and she soon changed her mind enough for them to pay for it so i didnt have to put it on a credit card.
If its what you really want then you should do it for you babe xxx

Hi...if you feel that a ba is what you want then you go for it...especially if its getting you down. If your gonna lose friends based on this then it can only be due to jealousy...would they rather see you depressed? Why would you class yourself as selfish?...its your body and theres no reason why having a ba should affect friendships...x

Hi Jessica
Your pic is fab and as you say you're not small in the boob department but on here we all understand what it's like to be unhappy with our boobs for many different reasons, but the vast majority of us can also tell you how great if feels to have the courage to have a BA and the difference it makes to our lives whether it's self esteem or confidence etc. If it's something you wnat go for it and don't worry about what other people think.
If you make an appt with a PS you can have a chat and there's no pressure so even then you can change your mind.
Good Luck x
PS this site is great for finding out lots of info

It's nobody's business but your own! If you'd lose friends over this then they're not really worth keeping anyway are they.
If it's something you want to do, then just do it xx

Welcome to the forum jessicaD
It is your decision which ever way you go - I have regretted not doing this 10 years ago and don't want to regret it for the rest of my life.
I have told some people who i think will be supportive, others who I think will try to talk me out of it, I will leave telling until the last minute and then they can't nag me for too long, others, like work colleagues I don't think I will tell unless I have to or they notice.

Re: Newbie- Don't know what to do..?
Hey, welcome to the forum. I am in a similar position to you as nearly every one of my friends and family that I have spoken to about having BA have given me very negative feedback... Nobody wants me to go ahead with it. It has made me worry slightly about how others are going to see me if I do. All I can say is do what you want to do, nobody else can make this decision for you. They are obviously not that good friends if they would lose you over something thats going to make you happy. Good Luck either way xx

Re: Newbie- Don't know what to do..?
Hi and welcome I can only echo what the other ladies have said and say do whatever makes you happy. You get one life why be unhappy.
If your friends don't like it its not their body and its not their business. They are really rubbish friends if they would fall out with you over boobs.
I only told my OH and my Mum. I live in a small town and didn't want the small town gossips knowing my business or becoming known as her with the boob job. I haven't told my friends because I've heard them talk about other people who have had it done in a not very nice way all they know is that I haven't got a problem with surgery. To be honest I think if anyone else has a problem with it it is jealousy as what difference does it make to them : )

You should do whatever makes you happy. If you lose friends over something like this, then they were never your friends, so no loss at all.
Re: Newbie- Don't know what to do..?
Hi hun, I am in a similar situation to you. I am not SMALL up top but have very big hips and want to be an hourglass and not a pear! Having my BA is going to boost my confidence and thats why i'm doing it. Do it for you if you are going to do it at all.
Good luck with the decision. :flowers:

It is hun.
Take time to think about whether or not this what YOU really want. Don't rush into doing anything sweetness unless you're 100% sure this is the right decision for you. xx
Re: Newbie- Don't know what to do..?
Loads of people told me i was stupid and tried to talk me out of it - my mum was really upset about the idea and made her feelings clear.. But now that I'm through the other side and not looking like a plastic porn star, people have changed their tune!
Go with your heart - life is too short to worry about what others think - it's your body and you have to live with it.
Good luck hun
