is settling different for everyone? Empty is settling different for everyone?

Post by izzie37 13th September 2010, 3:30 pm

Hi girls, im nearly 3 months PO and i have my review in a couple of weeks with my surgeon which im glad about because my left boob is STILL different to my right one, i know i had a slight assymetry which is normal as most people do, but im worried my ba has exaggerated this!!!!

my left boob is bigger rounder and hangs lower, its more uncomfortable than the right one, which gives me no probs, but when i look in the mirror, it looks as if its the RIGHT one that needs to drop!!! im totally confused... every morning my boobs are even-ish, by the evening the left one has dropped.. and the last few days they have been really pushing on my bras like they want to expand but i had overs, you dont FLUFF with overs do you?..

i have to adjust all my bras.. and i have a lovely upper fullness with the left but not as much with the right...

they are both softening up very well, the right is softer than the left though.

im confused by the what they are doing can anyone help? or is it panic stations??

:dunno:

1st thing, dont panic. Everyone is different and we all settle at different rates whether we have overs or unders. I myself still had wonky boobs at the 5 month stage and only after that did my right decide to drop in line with my left. I had overs too and have very thick skin (like a rhino). And yep overs can fluff as soon as my rightie caught up by 7-9 months I needed new bras.
Hang in there it can all still change and your surgeon can have a peek soon too just to put your mind at rest.

thanks so much misf1 for replying, i am a worrier, but as long as something dreadful isnt going on i can cope with a wonky boob for a while.

im hoping my ps will calm me down too its just the next couple of weeks to get through..

Hi Izzie, im 8 weeks po op, and my leftie is rounder and looks bigger when i wear a push up bra, i had overs too, but they look the same when i look in the mirror? but they are really soft can't make out if one has dropped or not, so i would be grateful to know what your ps says, as it does make you worry doesn't it

what does 'fluff' mean? i keep seeing it but keep forgetting to ask!

also i have another question. i am on day 5 post uplift and BA, i know its really early days but they are miles apart and i have absolutely no cleevage whatsoever. i guess it depends on your physique to an extent? i can see that some of you other girls are quite recent but do have more of a good shape in that sense. dont get me wrong i am so happy they are lifted but hope they do come together a bit!

Hey chick, my left on is still lower and slightly to the side compared to my right one. This was always the case for me. There may be time still for them so change. Hope you are well xo
