Confused? settling boobs after op
Hi All.
Apologies for my stupidity in advance however i just sort of though boobs op, bra on, get better, slight drop and all okay???
I know that its never as simple as i have put it but it has raised the following questions in my mind:
How much do they drop (i know size and weight is a huge factor)? Do they sag? Do they settle evenly? Will they stay full looking? and does everyones breast size increase over time?
Apologies never really seen boobs immediately post op (apart from my friends and they seemed to have barely moved a year on).
Please help I'm all confused.
Many thanks
xx

Re: Confused? settling boobs after op
When we say drop they don't really go any where and they should be a lot perkier than the real thing, It's just straight after the op they sit really high and can look quite plonked or stuck on, as they heal they drop a little so they dont look so high and plonked on, they take on the look of a more nayural slope and look to the breast. Cookie has an excellent diagram somewhere I'll try to find it.

Re: Confused? settling boobs after op
Ah thank you. I was really worried then reading about dropping and fluffing etc, all sorts of images raced through my head and i have googled boobs far to many times to even mention lol.
I've read some things about ladies not being happy with their boobs due to rippling and dropping but when u see the pics (in bra's) they seem perfect.
I have asked my surgeon for a full and high look however i am currently an empty 32c so am having overs approx 310cc and now wondering what they will end up like as it seems they are only stay high if under the muscle??
Sorry for all the questions?
xx

Re: Confused? settling boobs after op
I would say when I look at augmented boobs, and I've seen quite a few on here. I can not tell who has had over or under the muscle. As long as your surgeon has picked the right placement for you, then you will get the look you are after. I had overs and mine are full in the upper pole. I don't need to wear an underwire bikini for full looking boobs, they dont sag, they might eventually but that's years away. I'll see if I can find a pic to show you what I mean.
Re: Confused? settling boobs after op
Ah thank you so much.
The diagram has really helped and I do feel a sense of relief knowing that my costly purchase won't be a game of keepy uppy anytime soon. lol
I think i just can't believe i'm getting them and i want them to be perfect, reality is I have to be fully prepared for what can happen.
Again thanks, I know its the same questions over and over but you really are providing help and reassurance.
Cheers hun

Wow, They look amazing, they don't seem to really move. Sorry for asking but have they softened?? Is the size you are now roughly what you wanted??

Re: Confused? settling boobs after op
They were 11 months when that pic was taken, trying on bikinis lol. Yes they are very soft and move like the real thing, although it took aggggggggggggggggggggggggggggges for them to move properly lol. I thought I wanted to be a DD, but what I got was exactly the size I had in my head and I showed my surgeon pics we tried on implants and finally agreed on the 410cc to give me what I wanted. I got exactly the look I dreamed of, even though the bra size is a bit bigger than a DD.
We all go into this with a look in our heads of how we want our boobs to turn out and the best way to get that across to a surgeon is to show them.

Re: Confused? settling boobs after op
Ah misf1 they look fab! Im now praying mine stay like they are they have dropped a little and look abit more less stuck on but i dont want them to drop any more :( x
Re: Confused? settling boobs after op
Thanks hun, I wouldn't worry, they wont be going anywhere, when I first discovered dropping (a few weeks post op) I thought mine couldn't go anywhere and I didn't want them to (although I did want them to fluff and stop looking like cones) I wouldn't say dropping is dramatic where you lose all upper pole fullness, they will just gradually settle. I'm glad mine changed now. They are much better and I didn't lose anything, just gained more of a natural look.
Re: Confused? settling boobs after op
the term 'dropping' makes it sound bad! lol, but its a good thing, its them getting more natural without sagging!! ur pics look great misf1!
mine r really soft now, but have a long way to go! x
