thick muscle, when will they drop?
This may be a silly question but...
I realize through all the stories I am reading that the implant take a while post op to relax and drop into place and I realize everyone heals at different rates but do you think it takes longer when you have more muscle? I am having partial unders and I have a very musclely chest even my ps said "oh you are quite musclely" lol!
I am a bit nervous about the time it takes for mine to drop because I am so used to having droopy boobs its going to feel as though they are in my face anyway... and even though I want perkier boobs I dont want them to high my hubby and I both like a soft top.

Re: thick muscle, when will they drop?
My boobs which were overs actually took 3 months to drop they still just a little high now and still I feel have a little dropping to do even at 8 months post-op (not that they're overly high now, just need a bit more dropping), some ladies do take longer than others to heal for one reason or another sweetheart and if you have tight muscles, this could well be one of those reasons but isn't always the way.
Unfortunately hun, with our BAs comes a waiting game that we've all had to participate in, can't say it's a particulary enjoyable part of the boobie experience as we'd all would like our perfect boobs to appear overnight! LOL but in reality that doesn't happen for the majority of us and for a further few they have to wait a little longer than most.... but they DO drop eventually hun, they DO soften and if you have to wait for that... well, it's just a small price to pay for the rest of your life with your lovely new boobs isn't it. xx

Re: thick muscle, when will they drop?
Totally agree with cookie, when I was early post op I read other girls stories where their boobs were softening and dropping much quicker than mine, even some with unders and was worried mine would be pointy hard cones that didn't move forever. I'm also dreadfully impatient, I think it took mine 5 months to soften and drop then another month for them to even out as they were wonky. Even at 9 months post op they were still changing and softening. It's definatly a waiting game, but it does go so quick and it's so worth it

I've got quite a muscley chest too....plenty of body pump over the years!
I'm 7 weeks post op and mine have softened and dropped quite abit although I know they have many changes to come.
I was in quite alot of pain post op and was shocked that some girls seemed to cope with no painkillers after a couple of days which I couldn't of done. So I think being muscular effects this more.
I have lost some of my sheerah powers though

Re: thick muscle, when will they drop?
This is just what I heard when I went for a consultation yesterday.
The Patient Care Co-ordinator said it took her colleague a 2 year period to completely drop n fluff.
But I've had mates who have had it done and they said took about a year, so it can change from person to person. And also I hear it takes longer coz the muscle holds the implant higher, which would explain longer to drop.
But I suppose the extra wait is worth it if the results are gorgeous!
