Hey Jene - I'm SOOOOO excited now dance . I think I'm pretty organised, haven't packed yet but finally found some button front PJ's - not the sexiest things I've ever bought, but will serve their purpose.

How are you doing? It feels like ages since you went in!

I had to borrow some PJ's in the end as couldn't find any then didn't even end up wearing them! Kept my hospital gown on instead as it was soooooo much easier going to the toilet. Just pulled the gown at the sides and voila. I dont think I could have managed to pull my pj's down!

Thanks for the advice twinpeaks - great point! I've been going over this in my head for the last few days and going through my wardrobe. I really don't have any button up tops at all. Did you guys have trouble pulling tops over your head for the first few days/week? I'm now wondering if I need them more than the button up PJs.

OMG only 2 more sleeps!!!!!!!!! :cheerlead: Stars

Hi AJ
I bought a bunch of those thick strapped singlets from Supre they are easy to pull up and put on and the thick straps cover my ugly medical bra perfect. They come in so many colors too... I bought 6! I wore them with track pants during the day and with pj bottoms at night. After a week I was able to carefully pull tops over my head. Truthfully though I am still wearing my supre singlets as they are basically the only summer tops I have that cover the bra... and on cooler days I just add a cardi.

Sarah: OK, so you can put these on from the bottom is that right, just step into them? That's a good idea :good: . I will have to google it as I don't know where the Supre is in Perth! Mind you I am running out of time. Kindy info morning tomorrow, then pick mum up from airport, school pick up and straight to swimming lessons for the 3 of them!!

YOu will enjoy the post op when you have your mom running the house for a few days and you can relax in bed and watch old movies! I really enjoyed the first week, its was very relaxing... but my mother in law is gone now and its back to reality... with good boobies though!! :teehee:

Hi Gem, I think 3 days post op is very early to pass judgement on your new boobies!! I bet you'll love them before you know it! Is it the size you most worried about? 330cc is a good size implant and should increase your bust by 2-3 cupsizes!! I had 310cc's and jumped up 3 sizes.

I also have 2 children (2 years and 9 months). How are you finding lifting the 2 year old? I am realy worried about how I will cope but I have had a lot of friends & family offer their time dance

Where did you have your BA?

Hi CharlieB
My youngest is 18mo and I am still scared to lift him, I get him to climb into the car and into his car seat (some times a little bribery is needed LOL) I get him to just sit at the little kiddie table I have to eat instead of the high chair and to put him in his cot I put the side down, he crawls up so he is standing on the mattress and then I help him slide over! I know this will probably encourage him to crawl out now but I really didnt want to lift him.
My ps said not to until week 4! I have had to a few times butI just really made sure to use my legs and just support him with my arms.
I actually freaked out pre op at a consult when we went through the post op instructions and the ps said no liftting kids until 4 weeks, it was that which made me almost cancel! But I have to say even though I am avoiding lifting as much as possible and just taking my time when dressing the kids ect it hasnt been as bad as I thought.

Definaltly take as much help as you can get I had my mother in law for 2 weeks and that helped a lot, she was here when I really couldnt do things, now I could do everything I am just being careful.

Thanks Sarah. Blimely though 4 weeks :tears: that's gunna be very hard....my babies are both very active!!

I will most definately accept any help that is offered to me. I don't know if anyone remembers but I was getting really anxious about the night before my op as I 'was' leaving my kids with my brother BUT now I am relieved to say we have managed to get things re-arranged so that my Mum and sister come over to our house and stay with the kids. This way they are in their own environment and routine! And I feel so much more relaxed!! YAY!!

Thats great CharlieB you will be able to relax now that the kiddies are in good hands, they are always better in their own environment and routine! I know 4 weeks sounds like forever but I am 2.5 weeks now and it feels like yesterday! And its not as bad as it sounds you just make do the best we can. Do u go out to work or do u stay at home with the kidlets? I stay at home and even though that in itself is full time work, I can just adjust my day so that I can take my time with everything. I am a clean freak and a busy body but I am making a point to just leave things a little, I am really in love with my new boobs and I want to baby them until they heal. You will be fine! Make sure you enjoy your night out before the op!!

Hi Gem1982! Welcome, when did you have your op done?

Post by CharlieB 22nd October 2010, 10:09 am

I am a self employed makeup artist which is only around 16 hours a week so for the majority of the time I am at home with the kids. I have just not booked in any jobs until end of November, I have had some enquiries but advised them I am already booked.

I am certainly not a clean freak (wish I was!!) but I do like a tidy house so it will frustrate me watching things start to fall apart around me but I am going to be a good girl and not be too proud to ask for help!!

How are you boobies looking Sarah now that you are very nearly 3 weeks post op? I am still debating the whole size thing....460's or 525's I can see that there is not a great deal in it but my surgeon seems to think there is or at least he thinks on me it will make a big difference. I don't want to go against my surgeon advise as I know he only has my best interests at heart but at the same time I don't want to find that my boobs look hardly any different to what they are now!!

How is everyone else doing??????

Hi girls, I'm having my second ba next thrurs 28th at Glasgow Nuffield and switching from 300cc anatomical unders to round 450cc or 500cc (whichever he can fit in!) I should have kept up with this thread but I guess I'm one of the last October girls! xx

Hey coco - How simular are we! I currently have 310cc and am having 460 or 525's on the 30th...it will also be a case of what the surgeon can fit in lol!!

Whats your reason for a re-op? size? change of position?

CharlieB : I had my first ba 5 years ago and I just want to be bigger! I was literally flat chested to start with (not in the way that people normally use the term to describe an a cup or aa, I had nothing) so 300cc only took me to a 32b :( I'm having unders again and hope to acheive a large c/small d cup depending on what size he can fit in there! What about u? x
