Re: October Buddies!
Trudster and Sarah - It's completely normal to get all these mixed emotions....well I hope it is otherwise I am losing it LOL!! I had the worst case of anxiety last night, it was so bad I felt like I had done something really wrong, that awful stomach sinking feeling....I am praying it was a one off as it made me feel really sick BUT I am now prepared if it happens again (which lets face it is likely!!) I am full of emotion this time around and I am certain it's because of my children. When I had my first BA I had no responsibilities BUT this time around I do. I am going to hate being dependant on others mostly my hubby BUT I know it won't be for long and I will feel so much more confident after this re-op...I have had a wonky boob for far too long!!

I absolutely agree I think having kids makes this an even bigger anxiety! When its not just us to worry about the decision becomes so much bigger.
And I know not all homes are like mine but in my house its "mom" who makes everything happen from kids to house to bills... so its a big worry when the home, kids and OH have to survive without us. I find it funny that even though it is only a few SHORT weeks we feel that by making that time about us it is an eternity... yet in out day to day lives that are focused around the kids and OH the time just flys by.
I am really trying hard tonight to not let the guilt of a "little" me time get to me!
Good luck CharlieB on your day xx

Re: October Buddies!
:wavey: Hi everyone, congratulations to the girls who have their new boobies, and good luck for the ones waiting.
I am an October girl, though was last Oct when i had a change of implants from 525cc hp (had them for years) to 420cc mp and uplift. Sadly bottomed out quite badly and had a re op in April this year. I felt the implants were still a little big and wrong profile for me so i had a correction of bottoming out and 365cc uhp.
They have bottomed out again though not as much so having them done again on 25th Oct, keeping my 365's though as i like the size. Very worked up this time, not about the op itself but the fear they will not be right again.
Fingers crossed.
Sharon xx

Re: October Buddies!
Oh gosh Sharon you have truely had a right roller coaster ride with your boobies! Welcome to the buddy group, I am obviously Charlie and I am booked in to have boobie op#2 on the 30th. I am having BA#2 due to capsular contracture around my right implant, it's on grade 3 so it could be worse!! I am going bigger this time round though as I never felt as though my boobs were big enough first time around....I am fearful of the whole bottoming out thing, I hear that it is much more common with bigger implants being placed in saggy boobs.....is that right?? I am having complete unders this time around so I hope this reduces my risk of both CC and bottoming out.

Re: October Buddies!
Well Sarah has her new boobies now (just seen in her boobie diary) so who is left??? I know Daisy you are next but is anyone else having a BA on the same day??
I have my follow up appointment with my surgeon later today. I am soooooooo excited as today we will confirm 100% what size implant I am going to have and I can sort out all these concerns I have in my head about going under the muscle....my new concern being "double bubble" hopefully he can give me the reassurance I need!!
How is everyone feeling??? x x

Re: October Buddies!
Thanks all for the good lucks :). Jene, I havnt packed yet but doing that right after I post this lol. I'm so nervous but way more excited!
Good luck to you to daisydoodle! How exciting for us haha. I don't know when my procedure time is. They just said I was first on the list for tomorro and I had to be there at 7am. I'm not actually sure how long I have to wait after 7am.
So embarrassing today my bf's parents were at his house and I didn't wnt to tell them bout my BA. Anyway I had paperwork about my op on the bench (stupid me) and they snooped thru it! So annoyed! My bf yelled at them. O well I spose that's mothers in law for you haha.

Re: October Buddies!
Oh Emmy!!!!! of course....I am so sorry I knew there was someone else (hence why I asked) GOODLUCK for tomorrow!!! Fancy your MIL looking through all your paperwork...my family on both sides all know about my BA, I guess I am quite open about it but saying that I do have a few friends (obviously not really close) that don't even know I have implants at the moment.
Hopefully you won't have long to wait Emmy....are you a day case?
