Re: October Buddies!
Wow, it is really amazing how quickly some of you girls update after your op, I am on day five and only just got round to a quick look. But if i had a smartphone would probably have been on a couple of hours after the op I felt great, the drugs in the hospital are great. When I got home though that was a differrent story and they made my head really fuzzy and I suffered from nausea too, so I decided to put up with the pain and feel much better. I hope everyone else is doing well and good luck to those girls that are due to have their ops soon. xxx

i am on day 2 and really need to be clean and change my bra... just waiting for the painkillers to kick in again so i can take the bra off. when i lean forward the pressure is immense is this normal, when i sit back its all fine and no pain or uncomfortable at all. its ok the bra wont be off long i am scared they will fall out lol.... rubyroo where are u how you doing????

Re: October Buddies!
Hi Truster
Your OK to take your bra off for a bath etc but don't leave it off any longer than you have to. It makes you feel so much better being clean again x

Re: October Buddies!
Trudster - maybe it's because when you lean forward your using your muscles more!? Hopefully it'll settle down quick enough....pleased for you that you managed to get freshened up, I am dreading not being able to wash my hair BUT I am going to rope my hubby into doing it for me as he loves doing things like that!!

Re: October Buddies!
Hi CharlieB, not in any pain just some discomfort but having to keep telling myself off because I keep almost doing things and then think ooops shouldn't do that, but it's really boring and difficult when everyone is so used to me running round after them, so I just have to give little reminders about putting the washing in and pushing the hoover round. Very pleased with how well i feel compared to the first time round, totally different experience.
Trudster, my husband washed my hair for me but he won't be up for hairdressser of the year, he wouldn't let me have conditioner after, and just let it dry not a good look. Did have a funny moment in my shallow bath when trying to get out and not use my arms and just ended up sat in the opposite direction.

Re: October Buddies!
That's very reassuring to hear Blondie. I am kind of looking forward to sitting on my **naughty word** allday but I can't see I'll be able to do it for long...I am usually always doing something. Hopefully my healing process is short and sweet x
