September is almost here all you beautiful ladies...which means our first September buddy must get her new boobies on Wednesday!! Good luck ladies & keep us upto date with your progress xxxx
Re: September Buddies!
I'm thinking about the new boobs soooo often I told myself this morning to just try and not think about it today and not look up anything about boobs on the internet..... but here I am again!
Got to pay up the balance tomorrow and then I've got my pre-op next week, times going quite quickly it'll be my BA day before I know it, I'm mostly excited but also a bit scared. I wont know what to do with myself when it's all done, I'll have to find something else to stress over! lol

Re: September Buddies!
Hi MrsM,
I'm EXACTLY the same as you! I'm constantly Google-ing pictures of BA, and I'm ADDICTED to this forum!! I think about my Op 24/7. Even when I'm in the gym on the cross-trainer, there's a mirror infront of me and I think 'I will look different on this machine soon' random things!
I'm also looking at sports bra's all the time, I want one that fastens at the front so it'll be easier to open & close, and I can get a look at my new boobies quicker!
I went into TK Maxx yesterday, and they have Shock Absorber's for £5.99!! So get yourself down there.
You'll have to buy a few different sizes as you won't know exactly the size you're going to be. They have really cheap ones in Asda (I think they're £4) So it's probably worth buying a few sizes in those, just so you know what size you are then you can invest in a more pricey one.
I've seen some Fila sports bra's that aren't really bulky (most sports bra's are more like crop-tops and you can see them under your clothes!) And also there's an Adidas one that's quite minimal.
You'll have a rough idea of your size at your pre-op next week, when is it? MIne is Tuesday xx

Re: September Buddies!
Sars it's probably just last minute nerves, remember how long you've wanted this and looked in to all the pros and cons, I've felt the same a couple of times already, but I know I really do want to go ahead. How do you feel about it today?

Re: September Buddies!
really not wanting to do it. Hubby has been very nasty last couple of days and well he's a paranoid mess. I know if i get this done it will ruin the marriage. Do i put myself first or the marriage (which could fail anyway).
Anyway if i go through with it 9 days to go..... how is everyone else feeling x

Re: September Buddies!
Hi Sars, having gone through a failed marriage where I constantly put the marriage and husband before myself I would say do what's best for you! At the end of the day it's important that you are happy with you and if you're not, you will never be fully happy with everything else in your life.
I wish you good luck with everything - keep us posted - it's only 8 days to go for you now xxxx

Re: September Buddies!
I agree Sars you need to put yourself first. Once you have the first operation and your hubby sees that you're alright (and your boobs haven't exploded) he will probably come around. Don't you think that if you continue to be as miserable as you have been your marriage will fail anyway?!

Re: September Buddies!
21jane, i'm a 32aa as well and getting etiher 330 or 360 ccs. I've bought both 34 band and 36 band sports bras to wear after the surgery. They are front fastening too. I'll wear whichever one is tight but not unbearably tight, as the compression helps reduce swelling.

Re: September Buddies!
Hi Sars,
Sorry you are having a hard time. Lets get this straight, the only person you have to live your entire life with is yourself, so it stands to reason that when it comes to important decisions you need to take into account your own feelings more so than other peoples. Your husband may not like it but at the end of the day it is your decision. All is not lost, my mum wasnt keen on my op, or my Dad and they are very supportive now.
If you are having doubts yourself it is completely normal. I started having panics that i would never get my old boobs back and would not adapt to the new ones. I used to imagine how happy i would be if they stayed as they were, remembering that i had wanted them larger for a long time, this helped me through. I also remembered that i never liked my old boobs so in theory could only gain from the op. Also took a matter of days to get used to the new ones.
I hope this helps, be positive and realistic and remember it is your body and your decision. Best of luck xx

Re: September Buddies!
thanks ladies. He is just a very nasty man at times. Its exhausting to be honest putting up with him. I know i need to do this for me and if it means things get worse and we spilt then fine.
I called up the hospital today to asked what sports bra size and no one could help me out. So its a guessing game.
how is everyone feeling now??? who is first then lol xx
