Hi Girls,

this weekend is my hen weekend Advice of a strange nature required 839911

and as part of it we are all going to make a 'pop video' LOL, we have chosen to do 'Moulin Rouge' but now i am worried about wearning my costume for the video as the top is a basque with underwired cups, which i should not be wearing as had unders on 15th June and been told not to wear a bra AT ALL nevermind an underwired one

Will it be okay for me to wear it for an hour or 2 on sat? or not really?

Hello my dear. I got my op on the 9th of June and was told I can wear a bra if I HAD to. Not wearing one just increases the dropping rate so I don't wear it! Maybe just give your ps a call to make sure as he knows you well. I am jelous you have the muscles to move that soon! My arms still don't go up all the way.

i actually went out friday night, without a bra but a supportive top on, it was only for a couple of hours, they did ache by the end of the night not having much support so couldent wait to get my sports bra back on, cant comment about the underwire though sorry, i am 4 wks po

I wouldn't advice wearing underwires at all until your surgeon has given you the OK babe, so maybe just give your clinic a quick call and see what they say - You never know, they may just say it's OK for just a couple of hours, but as you're still very early in your recovery, it's best to check with them first. xx

Def best to check, underwired bras can cause problems if worn for a long time, so I'd give the nurse a call.

Iv decided to take your advice and not even bother with the underwired on, been and bought myself a new non-underwired one in the sale at ann summers ha ha ha so all set now
