sleeping on your tummy
Hi girls,
Just wondering if anyone is, or can sleep on there tummys or have all tummy sleepers changed to being on your sides all the time? i tempted to lay for a second on my front the other morning, i don't know if i was more scared of my boobs bursting or my TT scar coming open lol clearly neither of theses were going to happen but hey ho lol...
My point is before my BA i ALWAYS slept on my front... will i ever go back to doing this or should i just stop thinking about it and stick to my side???
Thanks ladies :) xxxx

Re: sleeping on your tummy
I did and do sleep on my front when it started to feel comfortable. I popped a pillow under my tummy and that seemed to make it more comfy at first then after a few months I didn't use the pillow anymore.
Re: sleeping on your tummy
I was a side and tummy sleeper before my BA, since my op I have only managed to sleep on my side, just doesn't feel right when I attempt to lie on my front. I do love sleeping on my front so will probably try again soon but atm it's not comfortable to me at all!

Re: sleeping on your tummy
I could only sleep on my tummy a couple of months after my first BA, when it felt comfy x
Re: sleeping on your tummy
I had my BA on 8th April and in the last week have tentatively lay on my stomach for a few mins at a time, then i get a bit anxious and move!! You will get there, but only when you and your boobs are ready!

Re: sleeping on your tummy
I sleep on my tummy too, I created a cushion around my boobies so theykinda sat in the hole in the middle to begin with LOL... quite odd when I think back now but it was the most comfortable postion for me getting back to sleeping normally, slowly one by one the pillows got flung and before I knew it I was back to a normal snoozing position. xx
Re: sleeping on your tummy
I slept on my tummy at about 3wks post op - did some sort of propping up position with my arms at the beginning but it wasn't long until it was fine to sleep fully on my tum.

Re: sleeping on your tummy
i tried sleeping on my tummy a few nights ago, my hubby couldent stop laughing at me, i had pillows under my tummy and it made my bum stick up in the air, he said he isisnt used to seeing that sort of bump under the cover, i tried lots but my boobies still touched the bed and was uncomfortable, i have slept a few times on my side now, normally wake up in the night a little sore so go back on my back,

Re: sleeping on your tummy
When I first slept on my tummy I felt like I was balancing on my implants but I don't feel like that at all now. Just feels totally natural x
