Re: April Buddies!
Hooray for you! You've got to go through with it now
I'm just the same, I'm really excited one day and then the next I wonder if I'm just being silly and will it really change my life. Then I remember how crap I feel when I go shopping for clothes or see some gorgeous girl out on the town showing off her assets!
I think it's good to wonder about it - better to be sure than rush in head-first and regret it later!
LOL Cookie. Well said! xx

Re: April Buddies!
Well am back from my final consult...am going to have between 280cc and 315cc, he'll decide on the day which looks best. I have to say that after thinking the 300cc rice boobs looked too big, the actual 315cc implant looked great - completely different.
So this time in 2 weeks I will also have my new boobs....actually felt a wee bit excited tonight which is amazing lol xx

Re: April Buddies!
I booked my op today and paid in full...No going back now.
If I think to much about the procedure I will be unable to sleep and when I think about the actual day my tummy flips completely, so I keep my focus on the end result...Nice Big Boobs!!!!
My kids are growing up, I have spent years spending any extra cash on my family, but now its my turn, and at 35 think its about time too.
I am on a total high at the minute might not feel like this as the date gets closer

Re: April Buddies!
Hey Cally, a lot of people have said that the implants don't look as big as the rice boobs so that's good. I'm sure your PS will do what's right for you.
6th April will be here before you know it!

Yeah I know, thanks. I've had a word with my hubby and he seems to think that we've come this far so shouldn't give up now so I'm trying to be optimistic!

Re: April Buddies!
You sound like you have a great hubby . I was told today that i wouldn't be having a blood test as I'm fit and healthy....however after seeing how important it can be from your story I'm a bit concerned now as i have had anaemia in the past and am wondering whether i should let my ps know tomorrow as i'm not sure if that needs checking or not xx

Re: April Buddies!
Hey Cally, don't worry. I'm sure if you are fit and healthy that you don't need a blood test. I wouldn't have had one if it hadn't been for me knowing about having low platelets previously. Your PS wouldn't put you at risk. I'm sure he'll put your mind at rest if you are worried though.
I've been anaemic in the past but that has nothing to do with this.
I'm sure you'll be fine xx

Re: April Buddies!
Thanks zoeb, I've got til Friday to decide what I want to do but I can't imagine backing out now! I want boobies!
Oooh, I've just noticed you're having Adrian Richards. I've been watching his videos on Youtube! He seems really nice. What size are you and what are you hoping to achieve? x

Re: April Buddies!
Yes he is all over Youtube !! His Aurora Northampton clinic is a stones throw from my house so am very lucky :)
I'm a deflated 34A cup now and am hoping to get a C/D with moderate 390cc's. I'm 9 stone and 5'3. It's so difficult to compare yourself to pics etc isn't it as we all so different to start with?!!
Good luck for friday decision day!! :)

No excuses necessary - your comments are much appreciated.cookie wrote:Escuse the intrusion into the April Buddies thread girls but being 41 - almost 42! I just had to tell you how much having my BA has changed my life! I have far more confidence now than I ever have!
Absolutely!Cally wrote:Aww we don't mind the intrusion hun....in fact it's the support and comments of people like yourself that have made me stick with my decision, so thank you xx
Yeah, you are another step closer to a new pair of assets.NurseSophie89 wrote:Girlies I just paid my deposit! No going back now!! Yay!!! xxx
Great news Cally - good luck in your decision making.Cally wrote:So this time in 2 weeks I will also have my new boobs....actually felt a wee bit excited tonight which is amazing lol xx
My next consult isn't until the 13th - I'll choose my size then and get to ask a few more questions. My co-ordinator told me I'll be having the anchor lift. Yikes that "bit" really scares me.

Re: April Buddies!
I already know my admission time despite not having had my pre-op yet. I've to be there for 12.00pm with my slot been anytime after 1.00pm. I'm not allowed anything to eat after 7.00am that morning.
My pre-op is also on the 13th along with my sizing session.
sallyslap - you are a day in front of me - I'm on the 20th. He he - we are one of the late ones having it done. lol
