Oooooh a few of you girls at the beginning of the month! Wish I didn't have to wait til the 13th, seems like ages away!

What did they do at your pre-op assessment and who do you have it with? I got the impression I wouldn't see my PS again til the big day yet I've no idea what happens from now and what size sports bra I will need etc!

My Boobie day is the 10th April with Dr Moraci with The Harley Medical Group.

I was also wondering what happens at the Pre op cos ive had my first consultation with my surgeon for about 15 min and just decided my size dont rearly know much else lol not good hey.

So at my pre op assessment it was with the nurse and she went over all my medical questions that I had already filled in when I went for my inital consultation with the PCC. She asked me things like who is going to be with me for the first 48 hours and how I am getting back from the hospital.
She took some pictures which are for the before bit in my file and I was able to ask her any questions. She gave me information to take away and read which covers things like what to not do before the op and what to expect afterwards.
In regard to bras my surgeon advised me what size to get and the girls on here advised a variety of back and 2 cup sizes in case of swelling and the fact you dont really know what size you are going to be straight after the op.
Some of the girls on here have had a MRSA test thing but I did not have to have one of these.
So thats it for me until the 13th!

My Pre op is in the next 2 weeks am very nervous now because getting sooo close to my day :s
Im going to b a c cup so my surgeon said get a d cup and c cup support bras would u recommend getting a e cup then if swelling gonna b bad??.

I would say a C and D would be OK. Make sure you go up a back size so if you are normally a 34 then get a 36 just in case because of the swelling.
I am having my surgery with Dr Chantsarack through MYA at Highgate.
Its 5 weeks tomorrow!

Hi girlies...4 weeks today for me - eeek !!!!
I'm also looking at a C cup hopefully Emma, and at my pre op my ps told me to get 34C and 34D sports bras. He also suggested to do the rice test so I can get an idea of the look/size I want. I go back 2 weeks before my op to see him again and am assuming we will discuss final size then.
Am currently going through the dilemma of don't want to be too big, but also don't want to go through all this and end up thinking that I wish I had gone bigger.....is all a bit confusing lol.

Do the rice thing...you get used to how heavy they feel and how they look! I put my rice in a stocking not a bag or you hear it crinkling!!! Started putting mine in for work, gradually more each day so they don't notice and won't all be staring when I go in after Easter with a D cup (I hope!!!)
My surgeon will have 360/390/420 in theatre and aims for the 390 but will put the one that looks best in.
It's all a bit nervy isn't it!!!

I know what u mean im very nervous but sooo exited aswell, I was also told to do the same but was also told to go up a back size with the first one for swelling reasons :)

Hiya Zoe....nervy lol - yeppy hahaha. I did start doing the rice thing, but was told to use cling film. Really struggled with trying to get the right shape - ended up looking like a right wierdo hahaha....'boobs' all wonkified. Maybe will try it in tights or stockings then xx

Em I was told to measure the rice in a jug...I think it's mls eqivalent to cc.....so if you have 300ml of rice that would be roughly a 300cc implant xx
