I went to have my dressings removed this morning, didnt get to see my PS, just the nurse. Both wounds look fairly good for the 7day mark, right one needed a steristrip tho as it hadnt fully closed. Will put pics up on picturetrail.. PM if u want details.. not gory at all i promise!

I sat in bed and bawled a bit this morning lol.. don't know why but the nurse in the hospital had warned me day three can be a grumpy day so I guess that is why. Also had got quite into a new exercise regime before my op and all this sitting about is doing my head in !!!

I still have greasy hair ....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... my OH promised to wash it today for me and has just waltzed off to the pub looking freshly shaved and well preened and left me sat here like a fat swollen high boobed greaseball!!! I think I may have to call on my sister tomorrow, get her to do it for me.

Lynnie and Grace next is it? How are u feelin ladies??

Aww hun, im sorry to hear you are feeling down tday, thats no good, but it will pass. Keep thinking happy thoughts.. such as going to La senza and looking at all the gel bras and thinking 'ha! i dont need u anymore! haha! Think of all the gorge stuff you'll be able 2 buy soon enough! Probs best getting ur sister to wash ur hair anyways, uno what men are like, he'd probs leave u with a head full of conditioner anyways! lol

I am feeling the same as Lynnie! One minute excited and the next really nervous and scared.
I have tomorrow off work to sort the house out and have my gel and acrylic removed off my toes and nails.
I actually cant believe it.
You may have seen my post on freaking out about the size I am having after the comments from my OH, he was being concerned but it annoyed me and I was really upset about it yesterday.

Aw thanks Soph, I think focusing on bikinis and nice tops/bras is the way to go in lifting my spirits. Cleavage here i come!! At the moment I feel all high and side boobage and my bra feels tight too...I have beach ball boobs lol!!!

Am resigned to another night of greasy hair and will just about forgive the OH as he is bringing me a chinese on his return from the pub ... Will def get onto my sister and get it washed tomorrow though!!! urgh!

Grace I saw your posts about you OH and size etc. You have thought long and hard about what you want, stick to it now. He's been insensitive so just leave him to it, forgive, forget... he will soon be grinning his head off when he sees your lovely new !!!
Saw your post about the tracksuit too!! I got a black one and felt quite the business in it until my 12 yr old told me I looked like a chav from the local park ha ha... Nice....

Girls I am so excited for you!! Make sure you have all the bits and bobs you might need when you come home at arm (ish) height as things like stretching up to get something from a top shelf is enough to make you want to cry with frustartion!!! Be ready and you will have a super relaxed recovery :)

Hello all ....I still can't feckin sleep, and my hair is in dire need of washing. Was at my mums, but had to come home due to daughter throwing a strop at her dads and wanted to come back here. She promptly slept the night and then went back to her dads today.....go figure - little madam !!!! So I've been on my own all day, looking like pants !!! Good news is that my sports bra feels a little tighter today - that or it's wishful thinking haha .
Glad your appointment went well Soph.....and big hugs to Zoe .....i'm not coping with the "invalid" part too well either, but as Sophie said, when we getting our fabby new bras, it will be a distant memory.
Thinking of Grace and Lynnie - you will be so ok girls, is nerve wracking running up to the big day though.

Seems like we both been left on our ownsome today!! My son is in Liverpool with his grandparents but will be back tomoro.

My bra feels tighter everyday... I love the size they are I just wish they weren't so in my armpit lol!! Really high, but I knew to expect that so shouldn't be surprised I guess!!

Oh well, here's to dropping, softening, fluffing and the next 6 months!!!

Ohhh gosh Zoeb if your still swelling 3 days after i hope i dont swell anymore or i wont fit in my bra its already very tight and im only 24hrs post op lol in a 34d bra.

Hey Lynnie - am having to sleep slightly elevated.....and it's just not happening. I like lying flat on my back. Am seeing ps again on Tuesday so he'll hopefully say I don't have to do it any more and i can get some zzzzz's lol xx

Cant believe it is finally our turn!
I am so nervous tonight. Just cooked dinner, so surprised I managed to eat any of it.
Going to watch The Hills DVD that I bought today as it seems to be doing a good job of keeping my mind off it.
Gonna also focus on tomorrow as have loads to do to get the house all sorted, done the lounge already today!

Cally i know what u mean about the sleeping business.. i tried lying on my right side last night.. only managed about 10mins cause i felt that my left implant was going to come flying across my chest and end up ontop of righty! mad isnt it!! xx
