Odd pain!! Empty Odd pain!!

Hi girls - just wanted to check that this is normal?

I've had no pain so far, just discomfort, tightness and swelling, but last night I started getting this odd kind of burning/stinging pain behind my left nipple, which is fine when I'm lying down but quite sore when I'm up and about. It's still there today (day 3) My right boob feels totally normal, fine and is definitely less swollen.

Does this sound ok to you guys? Can't help worrying!

Thanks, that's great to know. It's just odd that it's only on one side, but I have read that you should treat each boob as a separate op. My rightie is definitely smaller and giving me less gip - wondering if it's because I'm right handed and the muscle is tighter and keeping the implant contained better?

What I'm worried about it the itching that I know I will get - I'd prefer pain to itching!!! lol

My righty was much sorer than my left, my ps said it's because it was smaller pre op so took more work getting it in. I hope you dont get the dreaded itch! Just slap on the coco butter! x

Yes I will! I don't think my actual boobs will itch as they've been stretched twice before with preg and breastfeeding, but i have a feeling my scars will itch as they're starting to tickle already!!

But will crack on with the moisturiser just incase!

Hey Hun.

My left boob was the most painful, and it felt like my scar was opening up every time I got up to begin with. I had to keep looking at the dressing to see if any blood was seeping through, cos it just felt like it was. It would burn for around 6-10 seconds each time I got up, or if I leant forwards.

When I had my dressings taken off, there was no leakage of blood at all, which pleasantly surprised me!!

Like Nads says, you will get lots of twinges and pains but it all gets better.

I still get the odd twinges here and there, so pains etc are a sign of healing xx
