Cancelled!! :0( so angry Empty Waiting to go down but no implant!!

I arrived at 7.15 to be told they have the wrong implant. Ps said the one they have is the right size but wrong make. That I wouldn't know the difference if be hadn't fold me but its not ideal. They are trying to find a replacement from a local hospital. Grrr. So hungry and really want this to happen today but want the right implant :0(

They've cancelled it. The new implant won't be here for 2 hours and theatres booked. Totally f***** off

I'm waiting for him to come up and talk to me. I couldn't care less if theatre is booked later. They should make it happen.

I totally agree, your there ready mentally aswell which isn't easy ... It's not right to send you home, if you can or if someone is with you try to tell them that because it's not on!! I would be so stressed and upset cx

Omg that is like my worst nightmare !! How can he be giving you dates so for away when it's not your fault? I'd be getting ready to write a huge complaint if I were you-it's not even just about the anticipation it's about arranging more recovery time etc. poor you :( xx

that's awful! make sure they compensate you for this hun, its not just time off work etc, its mental strain plus recovery, the whole point of booking is that you can fit it round your life and its a poor reason having the wrong implant, such incompetency, its not as if the surgeon was ill or had a bereavement you can understand if it was a genuine excuse but poor administration should result in decent compensation xxx

That's dreadful Nikki. I can only imagine how upset you are babe Hug 

Really hope this gets sorted for you ASAP now. You should take priority now, I know its no consolation but hopefully will get a date very soon. Xx

That is unacceptable! You should definitely get compensation big time! !!! Their mistake, they should really fit you in today. Your so right to be livid, id refuse to leave the hospital until I'd had the operation! Xox

That is really bad, for you to get there and be waiting, that's so bad, they should've got you in regardless, worked over. 
As you may know mine was cancelled, however at least mine was 2 days before, I was gutted. You get yourself mentally and physically ready, it's just devastating it really is. 
I did however after having few small issues get 25% off my surgery. And now am 7th October, was suppose to be 16th September.

This boobie malarkie is certainly not an easy ride! 
Now booked in for next Wednesday afternoon. A week late but better than 4 weeks late!
The secretary left a message for me this afternoon about the same time as I sent a stroppy email so Im not sure if they had already arranged it or not but at least ive got a date sooner rather than later. Still p***** though. xx
