Glad that things have settled for you now Rachij. And Kitty i didnt tell my parents either. Only my husband knows ive had them done and no-one has noticed. I did feel guilt too but it will soon pass and they soon become a part of you and you will forget you ever had them done in the first place =] x

I text my mom that I was having it done, and I wish I hadnt bothered. Shes done nothing but act like a child about it, and I havent spoken to her in almost 3weeks. She hasnt even tried to get in touch to see how Im doing. Every parent reacts differently to it. I told mine because I've wanted this done for 10yrs, so they were well aware of it. But then my mom has a history of acting like the child in the relationship, so I dont know why I expected anything more!
Family is who you make it, and this is a personal decision. You dont *need* to tell anyone, and as long as you're happy with your decision, you shouldnt feel any guilt xx

Really glad that your parent's have come round a bit rachi, I had a similar reaction from my mum the first time I had a BA 9 years ago. My dad was very supportive but my mum was a different kettle of fish!

This time around has been no different either! When I found out I had PIP's and wanted them replacing but didn't have the funds available my dad offered to lend me half the money on his credit card. My mum wasn't happy and said that I should just have them removed, my "husband will still love me with sagging breasts" and that if "I can't afford it then I can't have it done!" Yes, very understanding!

Now I know from previous experience that she won't ever be happy about it, so the "not talking about it" is as good as I am going to get Smike
